Chapter Thirty Seven

Selena’s POV

I woke up feeling super excited. First, the moon goddess had granted me an opportunity to get rid of Shannon in the easiest way. Secondly, she was in the hospital, probably fighting for her life or maybe even dead by now.

Jhenna was excited just like I was. With the way things were going, the only thing that would separate us is death. She always went out of her way to see to it that I was happy and she always shared in my happiness.

What more could I ask for in a friend?

“Here, drink up before the ice melts.” Jhenna said, handing a plate of ice cream to me.

“Thank you.” I replied, flashing a smile at her.

“Are you still on the school website?” She asked, placing her legs on the table I was resting against.

“Yeah. It seems she isn’t dead yet…”

“Don’t say that. You and I know the wolfsbane was an overdose and would take the intervention of the moon goddess for her to survive. I guess the family doesn’t want to reveal her death yet. Don’t worry, the news will come in
