Chapter 67

Welbeck sat alone in his study, a sense of unease gnawed at him from within. Despite his triumph over Christine and the satisfaction of reclaiming his twins, there lingered a lingering sense of guilt that weighed heavily on his conscience. And so, with a heavy heart and a playful smile on his lips, he composed a message to Robert, a message of apology and revelation that would change the course of their intertwined destinies.

"Robert," the message began, the words flowing effortlessly from Welbeck's fingertips as he poured out his thoughts and emotions onto the screen before him. "I owe you an apology, my friend, for I have kept a secret from you, a secret that I can no longer bear to conceal."

As he typed the words, Welbeck's heart raced with anticipation, knowing that the truth he was about to reveal would shatter the delicate balance of their friendship. And yet, he also knew that it was a truth that must be told, no matter the consequences.
