Brian's POV
Disgusting.
One word that could describe Theressa's behavior. Why was she so wild? I regretted joining their party. How could I have ended up in the middle of this chaos?
My heart burned as I watched this person passionately making out with her lover. I shouldn't have had to do this, but the heart couldn't lie. I really wanted to grip Theressa's throat and suck her blood so she couldn't engage in such wild behavior with Dylan anymore.
"Brian, aren't you interested in making out with Ashley? She's been eyeing you so lustfully!" Sam quipped with a laugh.
I just gave a crooked smile while continuing to chop parsley. Ah, you should know that even though I'm a peculiar vampire, I'm quite skilled at cooking, especially human food like the one they all consume.
In Romania, we only eat human food during meetings or feasts with humans. Otherwise, we consume raw meat or blood.
"Don't listen to them, Brian. I'm not that wild!" Ashley protested.
"Even if you are, it's your business, Ashley."
Instantly, Jeremy and Sam burst into laughter. When I glanced at Ashley, she seemed to blush. Strange! I had just said that coldly. Did she think I was flirting with her? Damn!
"Ugh! How was our performance?"
Theressa's loud voice rang out. The four of us turned to look behind and found Theressa hugging Dylan intimately while swaying her body back and forth.
Seriously? Were they having sex?!
"Actually, it was so hot that we couldn't even see you," Jeremy replied.
I could see Dylan's face looking pressured. Yes, I could see it clearly! Not because I liked him and assumed he felt the same way. Clearly, it was a forced expression.
"Just say you're jealous and not interested in watching our performance. After all, nothing happened except for a few kisses. Dylan is too afraid to show his aggression when he's hitting on me. Never mind! By the way, I'll join Nania and Catherine at the pool. Ashley, do you want to come or stay here with these guys to get closer to Brian?"
I still had my poker face on. Theressa was indeed a dominant girl who liked to be bossy. I glanced at Ashley; she seemed embarrassed and slightly stared at Theressa. I already knew from the start that she was interested in me. But, Theressa shouldn't have openly said it in front of me.
Even though I'm a vampire, I still understand human feelings, especially women's. But whatever. That's their business. What I wanted now was for everyone to leave and leave me alone with Dylan.
"Just go over there, let us do the cooking. According to the agreement, you should be cooking, and we should be cleaning the house," Jeremy protested.
"Isn't this our usual routine? Doing things contrary to the agreement. Come on, Ashley, let's beautify ourselves before you show your curves to that cold guy," Theressa quipped, casting a cynical glance at me.
Strange girl. Ashley immediately ran towards her while lowering her head. I'm sure Ashley must be embarrassed because of me.
"Women, if only the roles were reversed. They definitely wouldn't accept it if we suddenly changed the plan!" Jeremy grumbled.
"Brian, don't listen to Theressa's words. Just consider it all as jokes; she's always quick with her tongue. I hope you understand," Dylan's voice came between the three of us. He stood there, staring at me! Oh my! His sharp eyes and handsome face were hypnotizing me. I didn't want all of this to end just like that. I hoped Jeremy and Sam would understand and leave from here.
The turmoil inside me increased, and I really wanted to pull him close and embrace Dylan tightly.
I nodded slowly and said, "Yes, I don't care about what your girl said. For me, that's not important. I came here to make new friends, not for women. Besides, you also offered me to join your baseball team, so I have to interact with you frequently as my teacher."
"Ah! Baseball! You're right, I almost forgot! We'll start training tomorrow. I hope you'll be up before 8 am," Dylan exclaimed, his face now looking even cooler. I had already thought about how to spend time on the field later.
I was in a dilemma. Should I remain cold and show my skills blatantly, or should I pretend to be a bit naive so we could have more interactions? Ah! I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
"Just tell me what time we'll go for practice. I'll wake up two hours earlier. But I don't have any training clothes. The distance from my house to yours is quite far."
"You don't need to worry about clothes; Dylan has a lot of baseball and other types of clothes in stock. He's a campus darling, someone very fashionable!" Sam chimed in, putting his arm around my shoulder.
Dylan nodded, "Yes, that's true. Don't worry. I want us to train in the morning, at 7 am. Maybe it's better if we train at the field near my house. I don't want some backup candidates to get jealous of you. Sometimes they can be very annoying."
"How annoying can they be? What are they going to do to me?"
"Oh wow, don't be too challenging, Brian! You're a new student on our campus. Gerald and his friends are very annoying. If they find out they won't be used as substitutes, they might harm you. Even though we're friends with them, they're still a group of people to avoid," Jeremy explained.
I gave a crooked smile, "If he harms me, I'll kill him."
Suddenly, the atmosphere became silent. Dylan's eyes wandered, looking at his two friends standing beside me. I realized that my previous statement probably shocked Dylan.
"Just kidding. I'm not a psychopath," I said, quickly trying to mend the situation.
"Great. I don't want to coach a psychopath either. Well, our conversation has gone too far, from baseball to psychopaths. Whatever it is, make sure you don't oversleep, okay?" Dylan said to me. The warmth in his eyes was so heartwarming.
I wanted to give a big smile, if only I could express myself freely. But I realized I was daydreaming. In the end, I could only give a faint smile and raise my eyebrows.
Being cold to someone you like is really torturous.
Brian’s POVHe fell.I panicked, really panicked. It seemed like his face hit the ground quite hard. But I still maintained my composure, not wanting to overreact.Brian was a cold and mysterious man, or at least that's what I always remembered when my heart and mind started to go overboard for Dylan."Twenty-five times, and you've already failed. I'm starting to doubt practicing with you tomorrow," I said to Dylan, trying to keep my cool.Dylan looked at me sharply and raised an eyebrow. He seemed very irritated."What did you say? Are you underestimating me?" Dylan asked."I'm not underestimating you, but I just find it hard to believe considering your strength. You fell on the twentieth count; your muscles are quite weak," I replied.Dylan immediately stood up and stared at me angrily, saying, "In that case, why don't we have a contest right now? Two hundred push-ups each! Can you handle it, nerd boy?""Hey, what are you guys doing?!"A voice came from the balcony above; I turned t
Dylan's POVI hate and I'm angry. Why?Of course, because of Brian. This is insane, my heart becomes even more restless if I stare at him for too long. Especially now, he's swimming with Ashley. It's clearly jealousy, I don't deny it.If only Jeremy hadn't come up with this crazy idea for us, maybe the four of us would be playing video games right now.How could he suggest swimming? It's like a breath of fresh air for Ashley, who has been eyeing the opportunity to be alone with Brian.I'm sick of seeing her staring at Brian hungrily all this time. Does she think I don't understand her tactic of pretending to have leg cramps?"Darling, why don't you want to swim? Aren't you jealous of the closeness between the two of them? I don't want to swim alone and join them!" Theressa whined again. But I ignored her this time. I was comfortable with my sunglasses, and I wasn't interested in looking at her. I didn't want my annoyed glare to be seen by Theressa or Brian."Look, the weather is hot,

Dylan's POVWe stopped by the convenience store before heading to my house. Throughout the journey, I struggled to contain my nature. Usually, I would laugh heartily with my friends, but Brian's presence had completely changed everything. At times, I couldn't help but steal glances at him. I felt like a teenager experiencing love for the first time."Honey, do you want this?" Theressa came up to me and showed me a red box of condoms. I swallowed hard and gave her a smile, "Do you really want me to make you scream using this? Isn't it useless?""But it's spiral-shaped; you can go wild with it!" Theressa exclaimed sensually, her hand caressing my lower area playfully.Yes, although I was aware of my attraction to Brian, I couldn't easily let go of Theressa. Sometimes her wild behavior got me addicted."Stop it, Theressa! No, don't do it!" I exclaimed, pushing her hand away."Ahem!"Suddenly, from behind me, Brian cleared his throat as he passed by. I was sure he did it on purpose after
Brian's POVI'm worried. This is crazy, because Jeremy asked me to sit next to Dylan. Nature appears to be working hard to make me happy. I tried to remain calm and cool.Nothing happened between us, we were silent, while Sam and Jeremy were laughing in the back because they were talking about beautiful girls. If I hadn't labeled myself as cold, Dylan and I could have talked a lot more."I hope you've forgiven me for inadvertently bumping into you two days ago."Dylan abruptly opened to chit chat. I am overjoyed! But I have to maintain my image."Forget it, I don't remember it," I said coldly. To be honest, I'm afraid our conversation will die again. I'm sure finding a suitable chat for a cold person like me will be difficult."Damn! You can't respond and provide an interesting topic of discussion at the same time. It's pointless because you're handsome but as cold as an iceberg! Women will struggle to keep up with you!"I smiled crookedly, pleased to hear Dylan continue the conversa
Dylan's POVThose green eyes were back. This time, the feeling intensified as I heard that he accepted our invitation to party at my house. My heart was simultaneously joyful and annoyed.Of course, I was happy because I'd get to see his cold face among us all, but I was also annoyed at the thought of him and Ashley being affectionate. When we crossed paths in the toilet earlier, I became even more convinced that I was indeed interested in him."Dylan Smith!"I snapped out of my reverie to find almost everyone in the class staring at me. I quickly stood up, wearing a confused expression, and asked, "W-what, Mrs. Lauren?""You're called to the principal's office to discuss next week's game. Everyone is already gathered there; I've called you five times!" she said firmly.I nodded and quickly left the classroom. Theressa, who was sitting in the front row, waved at me.The meeting didn't take long. In less than an hour, I was out of the principal's office. I received a message from There
