Chapter 1: Voices

-

Lilith looked over her kingdom from her balcony, from up there, everyone seemed like ants, she wished to be like them, happy. Before Lilith could get lost in her unfortunate thoughts, someone walked near her room.

She swiftly went to her door opening it, to reveal a woman who was about the knock on her door.

"Yes?" The woman, Jenna, cleared her throat as she bowed her head.

"Good morning, my queen."

"Good morning."

"Your parents have requested your presence for breakfast." Lilith sighed but nodded.

"Please tell them I'll be down in a few minutes." Jenna nodded, taking her leave.

Lilith closed the door behind her and went to her bathroom. She stripped out of her attire and stepped inside her shower. Using her loofa, scrubbed her body clean.

She turned on the shower, water falling on her hair going down her body. Closing her eyes she relaxed under the warmth of the water. All her thoughts drifting away.

Yuie oisae

Lilith felt a presence behind her, making her relaxed shoulder tense once again. Her Lyaofyn was now on high alert. She turned around only to see no one was there.

What just happened? Her Lyaofyn, Mara asked. A Lyaofyn was a word in Xiafionica they used to describe was half Lycan which was a creature who had the chance to decide if they wanted to turn into a wolf or Lycan, this creature could change between both species at any time.

Lilith- I don't know. It was as if someone was in the shower with us.

Mara- Maybe it was just our imagination.

Lilith- Maybe

Lilith came out of the shower wrapping a towel around her body as she walked to her closet, choosing a suitable attire for breakfast.

As soon as she changed into her clothing, she did her hair but not her makeup since she didn't need it. Lilith took one last look at herself, before leaving her room. As she walked down the halls of her Castle the maids stopped to bow/curtsy.

Lilith flicked her finger opening the door to the dining hall, to reveal her parents and the councillor.

The councillor was someone who kept the packs in check. Of course, there was more than one councillor, each in different continents.

"Good morning." She greeted them, they all stood and bowed their heads, showing respect.

"Good morning, my queen." The councillor greeted, along with her parents.

"Councillor Aaron, what a pleasure to see you again," Lilith said, sending him a smile.

"The pleasure is all mine, my queen." She took a seat at the head of the table.

"You may be seated. If you don't mind please tell me why did you come into my home unannounced?"

"I'm sorry my queen, but it was of great importance we met in person." Lilith raised her eyebrow.

"Why is that?"

"As always the rogues have built an army to invaded the packs, but this time they're close to winning. First, they started with the little packs so no one would notice and it worked now they're launching an attack on Alpha Valley's pack and his forces are slowly weakening by the minute."

"And you were hoping I would help?" She asked.

Aaron nodded. "I've already planned a meeting with all the Alphas, Lunas, Gods and Goddesses and I was hoping you would attend." Lilith stared into his eyes seeing nothing but desperation and hope.

"I'll think about it, but I will not make any promises." He stood up happily.

Bowing, he thanked her. "Thank you, my queen, if you do decide to go. The meeting is 2 weeks from now." She nodded.

"Do you want to stay for breakfast?" Lilith flicked her finger, making the kitchen door open, maids came pouring out with several types of food.

"I would love to take you up on your offer, but I must go and make the preparations for the meeting." She nods understanding.

"Thank you for coming." He bowed before leaving.

Guards escort him out. Lilith order them through mind linking, mind linking was something wolves were able to do through their strong connection, they could communicate telepathically. Aurora, Liltih's ancestor and the first Moon Goddess was the first to ever discover this.

Immediately the guards move from their post and followed Aaron out. The sun has barely risen and the day is already eventful. Lilith thought with a sigh.

Who said being the Moon Goddess was easy. Mara stated Lilith mentally nods in agreement.

"Dear, you have a meeting with Goddess Darci in 6 minutes. I suggest you quickly eat your breakfast."

"What does she want to talk about?" Her mother merely shrugged.

Darci is the goddess of prophecies, she was basically an oracle. She was very mischievous. Always looking for different ways to deceive people, which was one of the reasons Lilith loved and hated her. Darci also had the power to control people and change their memories.

Lilith sighed and ate her breakfast as her parents discussed different subjects, that didn't involve her.

She cleared her throat catching both their attention. "If you will excuse me, I have a meeting to go to." They nod as their daughter left the room, Lilith went into the hall touching the wall. "Péno." She smiled as her hands went through the wall, she stepped inside, going down the stairs, where she saw all her ingredients, they varied from rare to common.

Lilith took up the one's she needed, the dust of Leviaria, which was the realm where Darci ruled and lived. The ring of Asha and a portal shard.

Lilith got a bowl putting some of the dust of Leviaria inside, she placed the portal shard inside. "Bãdevìs." She whispered, the shard broke into two halves as she didn't need that much, she placed one back on the shelf.

Before putting on the ring of Asha, pointing it to the blow. "Viskëon Illàosnē poánre µeviaš dòleās tulusina." She chants in Darci's accident language, Adneesada the ring lit up, shining a bright purple into the bowl melting the shard, mixing it with the dust of Leviaria.

"Portialia." She whispered as she closed her eyes, a gush of wind surrounded her. Once she opened her hazel green eyes, she was now in a different territory.

"You're just in time Lilith." She turned around facing Darci. She sitting on her throne.

"Goddess Darci, why did you call this meeting?" Darci rolled her eyes.

"Why so formal Lilith, I thought we were friends." It was Lilith's turn to roll her eyes.

"We aren't, now could you just cut to the chase." Darci sighed sadly but then her face lit up.

"I know just the thing to change your mind."

"What ar—" Darci clapped her hands making a table along with chairs, and tea appear.

"A tea party!" Before Lilith could speak up, Darci used her magic forcing her to sit.

"Now do you want salt in your tea or sugar?"

If you don't shut her up I will. Mara complained.

"You look like a salt person, but then ag-" She started but Lilith cuts her off.

"Darci, I'm going to say this as gently as I can, sit down now and tell me why you call this meeting." Lilith was trying to be nice, she was trying to turn over a new leaf as people would say.

"But-"

"Now you're going to listen to me. Why did you request this meeting?"

"Fine, I have a prophecy." This caught Lilith's attention.

"Continue."

Darci's eyes shined purple and her lips moved on their own.

"As the full moon rises, they will meet."

"That's it? What's that supposed to mean?" She asked, confused.

"My prophecies come to me piece by piece and you'll know when the time comes." Lilith sighed.

"Stop with the games."

"This is no game, it's forbidden to speak the meaning of the prophecy to its keeper."

"I swear if you're lying to me." Darci shook her head.

"I'm not." Lilith stared into her purple eyes and there was not a trace of a lie in her eyes and Lilith couldn't smell a lie either.

"I hope so. Portalia." She closed her eyes as the wind surrounded her. She opened her eyes to see her surroundings change.
