Lilith watched tiredly as many different wolves walked around and interacted with each other. This was her job, She watched everyone's life as a spirit, her body was currently in her room, resting.
This was her modern version of a crystal ball. Watching people's life was fun at first, but over the centuries it got boring as she watched the same stories play out with different people.
Lilith always wondered, what having a mate would feel like, but the Moon Goddess wasn't allowed to create one for themselves many had tried and failed. She herself tried many times but it never worked.
So over the past centuries, she found other ways to fill her emptiness. Lilith closed her eyes and whispered, "Intefro." Her eyes snapped open, she was back in her room, sitting up.
She sighed, massaging her temple.
Aiut su oauia yuie oisae
Lilith felt hands over hers, but when she turned no one was there.
Did you feel it too Mara?
Mara- Yes, but I'm not quite sure what it is or who it is.
Lilith- At least I know I'm not going crazy
Mara- I can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe you should visit Darci and ask her about it.
Lilith- Tomorrow I've had enough of her for today.
Mara- Agreed.
She mind linked a maid telling him to bring her dinner to her room.
As soon as she got off her bed she heard whispers, indicating the God of Knowledge was here.
"Amaris, I have no time for this. Show yourself."
Lilith heard a sigh before she saw Amaris appear in front of her.
"Darci was right. You are no fun." Lilith rolled her eyes.
"Amaris, what do you want?"
"Just wanted to pay my favourite cousin a visit." Lilith sent him a sharp smile.
"Again what do you want?" Amaris rolled his eyes.
"I'm here to send you a message, from Nicklaus."
"When did he let you call him by his first name and what's the message?"
"He didn't, but he doesn't need to know I do, he said I—wait what did he say? Give me a second I think I wrote it down somewhere."
"How are you the God of Knowledge if you can't remember a simple message?" Amaris laughs.
"It's quite a mystery. Ah, here it is." He pulled a piece of paper and cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Goddess Lilith you are invited to the annual crowning ball, where my daughter Victoria will be crowned, the ball will be held when the moon is full—2 weeks from now, I do hope you come. Yours sincerely, Nicklaus."
"Please tell him I'll try to make time and stop by."
"Will do, I'll see you later cousin?" Lilith nodded.
"Maybe." Amaris smiles before disappearing into thin air.
As soon as Lilith heard a knock on the door she opened it.
"Place the food on the bedside table." The maid meekly nodded and walked towards her bed. Lilith used this time to wash her face, tiredly.
Once she heard the door close, she walked over to her bed taking a seat. Lilith exhausted but she knew she had to keep going, she needed to.
After eating her dinner, she decided to take a walk, enjoying nature, the silence was like music to her very ears. The grass was as grey as the moon, along with the leaves on the trees, she watched as the trees danced as one, the moon was half, but the light that came from it was trying to find its other half.
Lilith wished for someone to be looking for her as the moon did put was it even possible? And if they did would she be enough, Lilith chuckles in her head, she was worried about someone who wasn't even real. Her wolf whimpered in her head at that thought, even though it was true it didn't help stop the pain, the emptiness. Lilith sighed, walking over to the lake, taking a seat on the grey grass, as she watched the light of the crescent moon shining in the lake.
Just watching it made her feel calm, Lilith placed her hand in the lake, the water was as cold as the air, suddenly something flew out of the water, Lilith was on alarm at first but she calmed down as she felt the friendly aura, Nixies surrounded her giggling.
Nixies were like mermaids, half-human, half-fish, but they were as tiny as her pinky finger and they could fly using their tails, it was one of the abilities, Goddess Ophelia, their queen had given them. Ophelia was a mermaid, a bigger one, of course, she was beautiful, especially in her human state, she had dark skin, her hair was black and she had ocean eyes, any time Lilith looked into them it was like she was drowning, she might have been as Ophelia had the ability to do that with her eyes.
"Hi!" One of the Nixies greeted, Coralia, this wasn't the first time they came to greet her.
"Coralia, Waverly, Pearl and Kai, you all know better than to come out in the woods."
"We know but we could feel your sad aura are you alright?" Lilith nods.
"Just thinking, where is Adella?" Adella was their guardian. They shrugged.
"I don't know she just disappear, that was also one of the reasons we came up, could you help us?" Lilith nods.
"Of course, but I can't stay under there for a long time, I would need Ophelia's blessing of water." Ophelia had the ability to give people a blessing that could turn them into a mermaid whenever they pleased, but you had to be worthy to get it, but Lilith had found a spell that made her breath underwater for a long time, but the moon needed to be visible.
"Undailia wodeum monaie," Lilith whispered, rising to her feet, she took off her shoes, she changed into a swimsuit with just a thought.
"Let's go," Pearl said, everyone could hear the worry in her voice, Lilith watches as they dived into the water, she followed closely behind, the moon shined brighter, the light touching her body, the light made a white outline of her body as she swam deeper into the ocean.
"Where did you last see her?" Lilith asked they looked shocked as she was speaking underwater. "Little thing I added to the spell."
"Cool!" Kai told her.
"She was over here." They swam fast than Lilith as they were used to swimming Lilith wasn't but she pushed herself, they suddenly stopped, gasping. Lilith turned her gaze to what they were looking at, it was Adelle at the bottom of the lake, lifeless, her tail was gone, bite marks were there along with claw marks against her stomach.

-Lilith walked onto the stone path, water from the river near was on the sides, guards gave her curious looks as she passed, they couldn't recognize Lilith as she was wearing a cloth to hide her face, it was rare for her to leave the castle but when she did, it was always for business, so she never really enjoyed herself, even though they didn't know it was her but they could feel her authoritative energy. She was on her way to tell Ophelia what happened to Adella, before she left the nixies she cast a protection barrier around the lake, she warned the rest of the guardians not to leave just as a precaution.Lilith stopped walking as she reached the portal entrance. It was shaped like an arch that you would see at a wedding, but it duller and made
-After many introductions, Lilith, Antonia and Mariana sat at their table."Why is it so hard to find suitors nowadays?" Mariana muttered, Lilith silently agreed. It's not hard, you are just horrible at flirting. She heard her wolf/Lycan, who had been silently watching everything from the back of her mind.I'm not.Her wolf laughed. You're over a thousand years old, and you have never dated anyone. Mara states.I have!Mara rolled her moon coloured eyes, as she said,Sleeping with them doesn't count.Gods and Goddesses were known for their insatiable hunger for sex, it was something they barely could live without. Just as she was going to respond, Nicholas began to speak on stage, catching everyone's attention."Thank you all for coming to witness my daughter, Victoria, coronation, Let the ceremony begin."A man walked o
Lilith and the mystery manhad left the ball, going back to her home. She walked over to her bed taking a seat."How is this possible?" She asked, still in shock.
Lilith woke up, witha smile on her face.Looking around, she saw Adrian was gone, she frowned, before deciding to take a shower.
- It was finally Monday, Lilithhadn't seen Adrian since their last encounter, 3 days ago and she was beginning to worry.
- It was a few days later, Lilith was currently at breakfast with her parents. She hadn't seen Adrian since they kissed and she was starting to freak out like always. This was her first relationship, she didn't know what to do, was it even a relationship? "Lilith, what's on your mind?" Her father asked, snapping her out of her trance. "Um nothing, just a little tired." Both her parents gave her a look. "You know I can smell and see when your lying." Her mother stated. All moon goddesses had that power, even though her mother stepped down, she still possessed it. "I can't see or smell it but I know when you lie, now tell us what's wrong." Her father pushed, she lets out a sigh, taking a sip of her orange juice. "I have a mate." They laughed her eyebrows furrowed. "What?" "We know, that's old news, so what's his name? Age?" Her mother, Amelia, asked. "His name is Adrian. He's not exactly the type of mate you would expect
- "My queens and king. Someone is here to see you." The same guard said. "Who?" "Me." She saw Adrian coming through the door, with a smile. Lilith immediately knew it wasn't Adrain in control. "Hello, love." She frowned. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Mara said. "Hi." "It nice to finally meet you, Adrian," Mariana said with a smile, eyes taking in his body, Mara paced around in Lilith's mind calming herself. "It's nice to meet you too, Mariana right?" He kissed her hand, making her smile but Nicholas frowned at how happy his wife looked with another man, this made Lilith laugh secretly. "Charmed." Nicholas got up and shook Adrian's hand, smiling. "It's nice to meet you." "Likewise." "Well we're leaving, have fun, I'll see you later?" Mariana asked. "Hopefully not, kidding, mostly." They hugged her as a goodbye before leaving, Mariana turned around before
- Lilith looked around all she saw was white, she had to admit this was hurting her eyes. "Aaperi—" She started, but a hand cuts her off. "I suggest you don't do that." She turned around meeting the eyes of a familiar face. "Aurora." The First Moon Goddess smiled, her black hair was in a bun, her skin was as dark as chocolate, her eyes were as grey as the grass in Xiafionica. "Hello, Lilith you've grown into a beautiful woman." Lilith smiles. Aurora wasn't dead none of her ancestors were they just chose to be hidden, to live a life where no one knew that they were goddesses. "Thank you but why have you brought me here? I'm sure Ad—" She cuts herself off not wanting to think about him right now. "That's what I came to talk to you about, you need to accept him." "—How can I accept him when he doesn't accept me, I'm quite sure he only wants me for my body." She spoke those words hating that they were true. "Please
