"Sam, it's been four months. And until now, he hasn't said a single word, not even calling us as mom or dad." When Olive walks in on Zackary playing with his truck toys on his bedroom floor, she expresses her concern for his past condition.
Sam smiled sweetly as he rose from Zack's bed and placed his chin on Olive's shoulder, embracing her from behind.
"It makes no difference if he refers to us as mom or dad, or just uncle or aunt. What is important is his safety, and now that he is our kid, we will make certain that he will never get harmed again.
