CHAPTER 42 - A Brother's Explaination!
COLE'S POV
After my fight with Nathan and Xaiden, we have never really settled anything unless we fight each other over it. I apologised and explained to him what happened that night, that I had lost complete control over Xander allowing his jealously get the better of both of us, Xander apologised to them as well saying he didn't realise that she was still innocent at the time and that being the oldest the jealously that surfaced from how she was with them made him believe he deserved to have her first.
Once we couldn't hit each other anymore, we just lay on the ground and looked up at the tops of the trees, the stars, and the small sliver of moon that was in the sky. We came to the agreement that really there was nothing he could do about the fact that I will at some stage, need to be alone with Skyler to complete the marking and re-enforce the weak mate bond we currently share.

SKYLER'S POV Finding out what my father had planned for me on my 18th birthday was a shock, especially as he only seemed to be happy when he was punishing me, but then that would be the ultimate punishment, making me take my mother's place. SKYLER'S POV He then gets up and walks out the back door. I sigh. As much as I need him, I still can't seem to get past what he did. The trust I gave him knowing that he was an Alpha, that he had saved me from my father's punishments and showed me that there was more to life than chores and pain. I never expected to find my mate, but I also knew that if I ever did, then he would want to enjoy my body. I was just hoping that my mate would make love with me instead of just taking it. SKYLER'S POV Once inside, I stand off to the side of the door and personally welcome everyone as they enter. It isn't long before some of the outside Alpha's start to arrive. After a while, I move from the door and over to one of the refreshment tables. I take a small glass of water as my stomach rolls a little. I put the glass down and jump a little as 2 arms wrap around me from behind. I smile and relax as I feel warmth and butterflies skim over my skin. Nathan then whispers into my ear, "Angel?
