CHAPTER 65 - Conflicted
GRETA'S POV
Even after he said that they wouldn't hurt me and that he wouldn't let them, I could feel their Alpha aura and knew that they would do what they wanted to me no matter what he said. So as much as I wanted to do what Lily wanted, and that was to stay safe and warm in his arms, I access my other side and disappear, but I don't go too far, as I want to see what they do.
I sit on the roof near the skylight and listen. I am extremely surprised when the Alpha I had caught by accident steps in saying,"If you punish him, you punish me..."
This is not a normal Alpha or at least any Alpha I have known, as all Alpha's I have ever met only look out for themselves. They never admit when they are wrong and never take a punishment that is meant for another. Lily gives me a nudge to pay attention as if she knows he is about to say something important.

SKYLER'S POV I fight my way out of the darkness and slowly open my eyes. I was expecting to be tied in one way or another, but I stretch, finding that I am not bound in any way. I smile as I realise we are back at the same cabin we were in when Greta first took us. I shiver as I look over at the wall where Uncle Christopher had me tied so that he could whip my back. ALPHA CHRISTOPHER'S POV I make the trip back to my territory and pack. I am in such a foul mood. Not only didn't I get to finish punishing Skyler for killing my brother, but I have also just lost the best assassin I have ever had under my command. A Fairy hybrid is very hard to find as the king of Fairies sees them as abominations and usually has them killed not long after birth. I was lucky that I managed to capture and enslave a purebred fairy. Normally a pure Fairy only lasts for a short amount of time in the service of others, but I found a loophole. I did many hours of research and it took the sacrifice of quite a few scouts to infiltrate the Fairy King's castle and then his library to find the information that I needed. The very last scout I sent come back with a page from a very old book, on that page written in Fairy. It took me a little while to translate it, to find it was the instructions on how to capture, enslave and use a Fairy without killing them.

SKYLER'S POV I wake up, stretch and run my hand over my growing belly. Talking to Doc Isaac, he believes that the twins I am carrying are both Elijah's and Nathan's. Even though there were around 2 weeks between when they had loved me, he said that it is rare but possible. It also explains why one is slightly smaller than the other. I slowly crawl out of bed, as it is getting a little tiring to move as I only have 3 weeks to go. I head into the bathroom for a shower, even though I would love to stay there and soak up all the heat from the water, I don't stay in for too long as I have a little more preparation to do before Samuel and Emma's birthday party starts. SKYLER'S POV I feel like I'm underwater trying to swim against a current to the surface but just can't seem to get there. The current pulls me back into the darkness, making it envelop me once more. I feel like I am underwater again, struggling against the current once more to get to the surface. Only this time I seem to make it, but just as I break the surface and take a sharp breath. It seems that I am then grabbed by the ankle and pulled back under the water, back into the darkness. The current isn't as strong this time allowing me to finally break the surface and I wake slowly, I then fight the heaviness of my eyelids but as I manage to open them I have to shut them once more, as bright rays seem to blind me. I hear muffled movements and try again. This time the bright light is gone and I am able to open them all the way. I smile a little as Elijah's worried face comes into view.
