THIRTY FOUR

Shit! Ezra couldn't stop cursing because he was foolishly influenced by Mila's words. It was reverberating in his head noisily since two hours ago so he couldn't concentrate on his work. Though tomorrow he has a meeting with Edward's company. He would fool Edward until he actually received a crushing defeat and ended up rotting in hell.

Ezra glanced at the brown envelope containing Mila's signed documents this afternoon. All they have to do is get Edward's signature, and all the assets belonging to Kohen James will go to Mila.

"Why are you drinking and not going to sleep?"

“I'm not a five-year-old boy, Felix. You don't need to check on me in my own study."

Ezra violently downed his brandy and glared at Felix. The man walked into his den and closed the door behind him.

"You want to talk?"

"Yes. First of all I want to thank you.”

"Tch, we've known each other for a long time. What are you thanking me for, Felix?”

"I want to thank you because you didn't push Mila to abort her baby."
