THIRTY NINE

When he woke up this morning Hunter didn't have any bad feelings. He had forgotten the incident two weeks ago at the hotel and was working normally as usual. He made up stories with his mother in fluency about parties and drinking himself into a stupor. He and his father had bought new clothes when they returned home because their clothes were full of the scent of women's perfume. They agree to work together to hide the little crime in order to save his mother's mood from chaos.

Hunter didn't want to hear his mother get angry and sulk because his father slept with another woman. He prefers his home filled with peace. Even though now the house feels bland and empty.
