"Where are we going today?"

Mila furrowed her brows in confusion at Ezra while watching him drive calmly. It was Sunday, and suddenly Ezra asked her to go somewhere. Previously, Ezra had asked her to go to the park and buy flowers from a flower seller on the sidwalk. It was strange seeing Ezra continue to show concern for her like this. She was more used to his rough demeanor than his gentle one. She suspected that Ezra was deliberately asking her out today because last night she was left alone at home. Completely alone. There is no Felix who usually always accompanies her. She only saw five fully armed guards in front of the house. But Felix and Ezra weren't home at all.

"You'll find out later," Ezra answered mysteriously while still staring at the slightly crowded street in front of him.

"Where were you last night? I was left alone at home.”

"We have important work."

"What? Kill again?” Mila said skeptically.

"Nope. We didn't kill anyone."
