TWENTY SEVEN

When Ezra arrived at the hospital, he saw a police car parked in the parking lot. Ezra cursed softly. Today he was very unlucky and he would have to give false testimony if the cops questioned him.

Before he stepped out, his cell phone rang. One of his men was on the phone and he quickly answered.

"What's wrong? Have you finished off all of them?"

“We killed three people. One more person seems to have escaped.”

“Looks like he died too. The car overturned at a crossroads, two miles south of the house. You don't need to sort it up. The police will come and sort it out. You guys just need to take care of those three idiots.”

“We will. Is there anything else you want, boss?”

"No. But stay alert. The cops will probably be lurking within a ten mile radius of the house.”

"Copy that, sir."

Ezra turned off his phone and rushed to get Mila out of the back seat, who had fainted. He called any nurse who happened to be passing by in the lobby, then told her to immediately provide gurney. H
