Kira’s POV

I stepped out of the palace car and into the academy courtyard, and the vibe hit me like a brick wall.

Last time I was here, it was chaos…whispers, side-eyes, people “accidentally” bumping into me, snickers behind hands. Pure mean-girl energy.

Today? Dead silence. Everyone either stared at the ground or gave me these quick, nervous glances before looking away fast. A couple of girls even curtsied. Curtsied. Like I was actual royalty and not just the girl who got dragged here against her will by fate.

Guess word travels fast when the king threatens to behead anyone who disrespects his “mate.” Adrian might not have shown his face since this morning’s disaster, but he was everywhere.

In the bowing servants. In the extra guards trailing me like silent shadows…close enough to watch, far enough that I couldn’t scream at them. In the way no one dared breathe wrong in my direction.

I kinda loved it.

Breakfast had been the cherry on top.

I’d smiled sweetly at the head maid and sai

  • TOO WILD TO TAME   Give To Levi What Belongs To Him

Lady Margaret’s POV“Get. Me. Out. Of. Here,” Adrian growled. His men shoved me aside and I almost fell on my face.I watched them suspiciously as they dragged Adrian past me like a broken doll, his head hanging limp, those strong arms dangling uselessly at his sides. The mighty King of all alphas, carried by his own men as if he were already dead. Pathetic. Utterly, deliciously pathetic.A slow smile curled my lips as Thomas shoved by, all false bravado and barely concealed panic. He thought he could threaten me…me?…with his little fangs and his beta growls. Fool. I am blood of the old line, sister to the previous king, aunt to a usurper. I bow to no one, least of all a lapdog. They disappeared into the palace, hurrying toward whatever dark hole they planned to chain him in tonight. The third of the month. Always the third. I have eyes everywhere, ears in every shadow, but they have failed to uncover why the king’s warriors are always acting suspiciously on thirds of every month.

  • TOO WILD TO TAME   Lock Me Up

Adrain’s POVDerek snarled angrily when we saw it.Blood on the snow.Dark red, dried into rusty streaks against the white. Not much…just drops, smeared like she’d scratched herself on a branch or fallen. My heart slammed against my ribs.A wild animal? One of the cursed beasts? Had something sunk claws into her soft skin? No. No no no.Derek roared again inside me, clawing at the edges of my control, desperate to break free. He was losing it, panting, snarling, ready to tear the forest apart tree by tree. I shoved him down hard. If Derek took over now, he’d kill anything that moved…friend or foe. There will be real chaos and bloodbath. I couldn’t let that happen. We fanned out, searching wider, deeper. Hours bled away. Her trail led straight to the Outland border…a wide clearing where the kingdom’s magic wards ended and rogue territory began. And there, in the middle of that clearing, her scent just… stopped.Gone.Like she’d vanished into thin air.I circled the spot frantically, n

  • TOO WILD TO TAME   One Drop Away

Adrian’s POVThe same bloody curse. It wasn’t some ancient fairy tale whispered around campfires to scare pups. It was real, carved into my bloodline like a scar that never healed. I’d lived with it my whole life, but I’d never truly understood the monster it could turn me into until that one night five years ago.I staggered back, the study suddenly feeling too small, the air too thick. Thomas watched me carefully, his eyes following mine to stop me from doing anything stupid. He knew. He was the only one who knew everything. That night, the rogues had hit three villages on the eastern border. Slaughtering families, burning homes, leaving nothing but blood and ash. We tracked them for days…me, Thomas, and twenty of our best warriors. When we finally cornered them in the Black Hollow, it was supposed to be a clean sweep. Justice. Vengeance for the innocent. It started out that way.Derek took over the second we charged. My wolf was bigger, faster, deadlier than any rogue could ever d

  • TOO WILD TO TAME   Unfinished Business

Adrian’s POVPapers were scattered all over my desk like a battlefield after a war…reports, maps, alliance requests, all blurred together because my mind was still stuck on this morning. My body was a traitor, still aching from that heated make-out session with my mate. We’d been so close, so damn close to finally giving in, her soft moans echoing in my ears, her body pressed against mine…and then I’d stormed in here, still rock-hard, desperate for her. What did I do afterwards? The only thing a frustrated wolf could do alone…jerk off. Imagining her lips, her eyes fluttering shut, her cries… I was right there, on the edge. And that’s when Thomas barged in. Mid-stroke. Caught like a teenager watching porn. The humiliation burned hotter than any battle wound. Now he sat across from me in the study, that amused smirk plastered on his face like he owned the damn thing. His eyes sparkled with barely held-back laughter.“I swear to the moon, Thomas, if you so much as laugh or giggle…”He

  • TOO WILD TO TAME   Twenty Steps Too Far

Kira’s POVI stood there, staring at that stupid fence like it was mocking me. God, I need to start working out more!Twenty steps? That’s all I’d managed before my lungs gave up and my legs turned to jelly. My chest heaved, sweat already sticking to my back. I’m human after all. Fully, pathetically human. No super stamina, no endless energy like the others. Just me, Kira…or Arabella, whatever…gasping like I’d run a marathon when it was barely a sprint. But I wasn’t turning back.I straightened up, wiped my forehead with the back of my hand like a warrior putting mud on her forehead to go into battle, and started walking. Fast. Determined. The trees closed in quickly…the normal forest edge giving way to thicker brush, darker shadows. The air started feeling cooler, heavier, like Victoria had said. I pushed branches aside, ignoring how they scratched my arms. This was for my wolf. I could handle a few scratches. As soon as I connect with my wolf, I’ll be able to heal too.Minutes tu

  • TOO WILD TO TAME   The Dark Zone

Kira’s POVThe so-called Dark Zone should be a piece of cake. She’s probably overreacting to scare me.I cleared my throat and crossed my arm. “Tell me more about this Dark Zone,” I said.Victoria crossed her arms, that smug little smile still plastered on her face, but her eyes had this gleam…like she was enjoying this way too much.“You really want to know about the Dark Zone?” she asked, voice low so the others nearby couldn’t catch it. “Fine. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.”She stepped closer, like we were besties sharing secrets.“It’s not some cute little walk in the woods, princess. The Dark Zone is forbidden for a reason. The air gets thick, heavy…like it’s pressing down on you. The trees twist weird, block out the sun even in the middle of the day. People hear things…whispers, growls, cries that sound like your own voice calling you deeper. Some say lost wolves roam there, feral ones that never bonded with anyone. Others say it’s where the cursed ones go to die.”She paused
