Chapter Thirty-four

The next morning, Gavin got dressed for work. He went to have breakfast. He was surprised to see Arianna dressed too, having breakfast at the dinning room. He had expected her to stay home, considering the incident that took place last night. Arianna finished up with breakfast and left for her car. Gavin hurriedly went after her and grasped her hand, pulling her back.

"Are we using this car? Gavin asked

"We? This is my car. I'm going to work in my car"

"May I join you then? Gavin asked.

"Gavin, you have your own car. Why don't you use it"

"Are you still mad at me about last night? I thought we had settled the issue last night"

"I also thought so but then...on a second thought, I felt I was being fooled again, as usual"

"Fooled? C'mon Arianna, we've settled this. Don't dwell in the past. Let's move on"
