DAISY

The next day, I woke up super early. It was my body’s way of telling me that it did not recognize the place it was sleeping. I have never been so comfortable on the bed, knowing that I was in one of the most protected places in the world. No one was going to come out of anywhere and hurt me. I was a hundred percent safe and if things were to go the way I had planned, it was going to stay that way forever.

I got out of bed after I was done thinking about my situation. I got into the bathroom and freshened up, then took some of the local supplements that I got in the rogue pack. I was not able to eat much and I needed my baby to be healthy. It is still three months old and right now, it is crucial to give it all the vitamins it would need so it will develop well. After I was done with my morning routine, I used the belly tape and then I wore a baggy shirt and shorts. I checked my reflection well in the full length mirror before I headed out of the room.

The sun was up by the time I had gone downstairs using the elevator. All of the grand curtains were open, and the shutters too were open. The air was fresh and smelt of fresh bread and stew. I turned to the dining table and there, the triplets were seated there. They all looked like they had been forced to sit at the table and eat together, which I found hilarious.

Declan was the first to notice me. He stood up to his feet and his mouth spread into a smile, “Daisy, good morning. I came to check on you earlier but you were still sleeping.” He approached me, kissing both of my hands once he was close enough.

“Good morning. I was not expecting to see y’all awake. Thought it was too early.” I replied, glancing at my two other mates.

Julian’s jaw was tight, like he was angry about something and Liam’s expression was neutral.

“No, it's not. We have practice in the morning so we leave really early,” he brushed his hair to the side. It did not look like he had done much work with it today. “I will take you to school, if you don’t mind.”

I usually walked. Seeing all of the kids whoosh past me with their expensive cars, I had always thought of what it would be like to be like them. They seemed like they did not have anything to worry about with their clean shoes and sparkling socks. I could not say the same for mine because I had to walk before I reached school. It was not an issue before because I always looked forward to seeing Julian. I nearly scoffed at the thought of that.

“Of course I don’t. We should get going.” I gave him a tightlipped smile before I glanced at his plate on the table. It looked like he was finished. My mouth watered, but I really did not feel like eating.

“Don’t you want to eat?” His eyebrow scrunched.

“I am fine. I will eat when I’m back.” I assured him.

He let out a breath before he nodded, “Okay. We should get going.”

“Wait.” Julian called out. We both turned to look at him, and he was on his feet.

“What, Julian?” Declan asked him.

“I really think you should change your clothes. You have your mates now. I do not want anyone seeing you…” He paused, throat bobbing.

“To hell with what you think.” I spat.

I didn't even know where the rage came from, but it did. The last thing I saw was his eyes widening before I hooked my arm around Declan’s arm and we left the palace. He opened the door for me to get in, and then we headed to school.

Gale High was the biggest public high school in the pack the majority of the kids attended. It was pretty large and the population was high. It was a relatively good school, but it cannot be compared to the other private high schools that were exclusively for the children of extremely rich people. I always wondered why the sons of the alpha did not attend them.

Since they were being trained on how to be good alphas when one of them was going to be crowned.

“Why Gale High?” I asked Declan once we were at the gates of the school.

“It's a good school. Well rounded. I need to learn about the people, you know. If I am going to lead them one day.” He explained.

“Do you think you are the only person suited for the throne between your brothers?” I asked him.

“Liam, maybe. Julian, hell no. He is going to drive the pack to the ground and that is a fact.” He laughed, a scoff escaping in between the laughter.

My lips formed a thin line when I thought of it. He was not selfish and self-centred. He might be the only person who was suited to be on the throne, but he still thought his brother could make a good alpha. It was a good attribute for an alpha. To be humble. Maybe this was how I was going to know who was the better triplet. Character assessment in random questions I would throw at them.

Declan parked the car and got out. He threaded to the other side of the car and opened my door for me. I thanked him with a smile before I got out. There were so many people in the parking lot, joking and shouting like it was not morning. It annoyed the crap out of me. I rolled my eyes as I looked away from them. The pregnancy mood swings were doing a number on me.

I had to head to the principal's office to speak to her because I had spent three months away from school. I felt people glancing at us as we walked hand in hand into the school. I would pay to hear what was going on in their heads.

“Hey, freckles.” I heard a male voice behind me.

Turning around, there was a boy standing behind us. I quickly recognized him as one of Julian’s friends. He played football with him and might have been one of the boys who were standing by the day I got humiliated by him. Blood rushed to my cheeks as I watched him approach us.

“Looking good,” he commented. “Your breasts look plump and your face is slightly brighter. Did you go to a 90 days of glow-up school?” He smirked.

“Fuck off jerk.” I spat.

“Since Julian is done with you, swing by my house tonight?” He bit his lip as his eyes trained down my exposed legs, and I suddenly felt exposed.

“I would pause my words now if I were you,” Declan growled beside me. I could feel his grip on my hand tighten, like his anger was growing with every second that passed.

“Declan, please. He is not worth it.” I tried to calm him down. I did not want him to have an issue with the principal.

The jerk laughed and shook his head, folding his arms to his chest. He moved forward toward Declan, which was almost comical because Declan was far taller and more intimidating than him but he wanted to put on a show for the rest of the kids that were in the hallway.

“And why do you think I will listen to your command when you are not the alpha yet?” He asked.

Declan turned to me, his eyes softening when he met my gaze, “Go ahead. I am going to meet with you later.”

“Declan, really. He’s not worth it.” I repeated. He did not look like he was ready to listen to me. He kissed my cheek and let go of my hand, leading me to walk away.

I looked back at the jerk and he still looked like he was standing his ground. I had to stop feeling bad for him. He got what was coming for him. He should not have messed with me. He was part of the people who made a joke out of my feelings. He was going to get what was coming from him. I walked away from them, and the sounds of a fist meeting another body part, then the screams of the jerk were all I could hear as I headed to the principal’s office.

When I reached, I found an empty office. Neither she nor the secretary was there. I groaned as I turned my heels to head to my first class, and the first person my eyes laid on was Poppy. Her jaw was slacked, like she had just seen a ghost.

DAISY One year later. One year had passed since the day I had woken from my coma, and what a year it had been. Today, as I stood before the mirror in my bridal gown, the excitement and nerves intertwined within me, creating a whirlwind of emotions. This was the day Declan and I would become husband and wife, surrounded by our beloved pack, family, and friends.I smoothed my hands against my dress and I smiled when I felt the sheen feeling of the material it was made up of. I had never thought that I was going to be wearing a dress with such luxury as this some time in my life. I had always just thought that I was going to wear some cheap clothes when I came to this pack, even though I thought I was going to get married to Julian at that time. But it never settled in my head to have an extravagant wedding. Yet here I was, in one of the most expensive dresses anyone has ever owned in the pack and being the Luna of the pack. It brought so many privileges that I underestimated what it

We had shared a peaceful and sensual night together, our worries momentarily forgotten in the embrace of our love. Is has been a month. A blissful month of love as we tried to forget the trials and tribulations our family had gotten through. We were raising our kids perfectly. I wanted to be there for them like my father was for me and give them the best childhood anyone could ever ask for. “Declan.” Daisy sighed under my arm, turning and leaning into me. I looked down at her face, her perfect little face. I would go to war for her. All I wanted was to stare at her and wait for her to fall asleep. But as much as I longed to stay by her side, duty called. Today was my coronation day

DECLAN As consciousness slowly seeps back into my mind, I found myself enveloped in a haze of confusion. I blinked, disoriented, unsure of where I was or how I had come to be here. What was going on? The last time I was awake, I was with my children and now I was in this strange place. A strange beautiful place. Everything seemed surreal, as if I were caught in the midst of a dream from which I could not wake. I stood up to my feet and at that moment, I could feel myself float. My entire body felt not as feathery as I walked on the grass, feeling a sense of calmness in the pit of my stomach. It was almost as if I was not depressed about how my mate had died. It almost felt like I had died because my emotions were not present. I looked around, trying to understand where I was, and then, amidst the swirling mists, I saw them. Julian and Liam stood before me, their smiles luminous and their presence a balm to my blank soul.My heart skipped a beat and I stood there in shock, a surge o

DAISY As I emerged from the swirling depths of the portal, my heart pounded in my chest with a mixture of anticipation and dread. I thought I had died. It seemed almost too real because I was in the portal that was for the dead. How was I still feeling after all of this? I could feel my consciousness coming back to me slowly. I could feel my fingers move, my body trembling from the trauma it had just gone through and sensation filling my nerves. I opened my eyes and the bright light clouded my vision. DAISY I dreaded when the day was going to come eventually. It has been almost a month and even though the knowledge of what was going to happen was heavily upon us, we still did not allow that to stop us from being happy. Julian and I have been dreading the day that it will happen but even though we were, we were trying to put on happy faces for everyone. We desperately did not want anyone to remember us being depressed or being a burden. We were warned to relish the days we had left and spend them with positivity. Aurora and Wren have been working hand in hand to start up with the reverse spell.I had told them that I wanted to help since I was the one that created the spell in the first place but they disagreed with me and made me spend more time with my family and friends instead. I had been with Declan and Poppy trying out things I was scared to try out before. We had eaten so much that I was sure I had tried out every delicacy in the pack. We had tried different spots and had go
