Silence.
He didn't blink but my eyes shivered multiple times. I didn't even know what expression I could give. I smiled and my smile turned into laughter. I started laughing crazily, banging my hands on the table. “Ma-a-rry you.” I continued laughing constantly, It was just too funny. He had a frown on his face which made me laugh even more. “You might take this as a joke but it's not.” He gave a serious look and was still frowning. I stopped laughing when I noticed his serious face. He didn't seem to be joking. “What nonsense are you spilling?” I spat out. “Pass me the watch.” He ignored and diverted his gaze to Hendrix. Hendrix bowed for a second, he began to search the suitcase. He bought out a female watch and passed it to him. Without permission, Sebastian grabbed my left hand and wore the watch for me. I furrowed my brows. I tried to remove my hand but he was too strong for me. He locked the watch and removed his hand from mine. I frowned and scrolled my hand in the air. “What the heck is this?” “You can't remove it even if you try. It is a tracking device. I can track you anywhere around the world.” “Tracking device?” My hands were still in the air. “It's either you pay me my money or you get married to me.” I got scared at his words. I dropped my hands, fear gripped me. He was right, I had no money to pay him but I definitely wasn't going to marry him. “I don't have time. Pick now.” His nonchalant and grumpy face were evident. “Okay fine.” I agreed. Lies. That was just a way to get the fuck out of here. “You are not as dumb as I expected.” He turned to Hendrix. “The file?” Hendrix dropped lots of stapled paper in his hand. Sebastian tussed the paper on the table, in front of me. “Read through it carefully and sign it.” He took a pen from his black trouser, placed it on the paper. I sighed and all my brain could think of was a way to get the hell out of here. I just picked the pen. Without thinking, I began to sign every page that had my name. I didn't bother reading. What was the point when I was getting the fuck out of here. “Done.” I faked a smile and dropped the pen on the paper. “You're really so stupid for not reading the contract.” He chuckled a little and passed the paper back to Hendrix. “When I get back, we'll talk more about the contract.” He smirked, pushed his chair backwards for him to stand. “Let's go, Hendrix.” They both walked out majestically while I wore a fake smile. When I noticed them leaving, I dropped the smile. What I did or what just happened? I knew not but what I knew, I've got to get the fuck out of here. I adjusted my chair and started running out. I was blocked by some of the obstacles but waved through them. I saw the huge golden door that probably led out. I pushed it with all the energy I had in me. The door opened widely. It had seven steps that led to the huge compound. I strutted down the stairs and started running. I ran with everything even though I was barefoot. I wished I was wearing my heels. Everyone agreed that heels are the best to run with. After years of running, I reached the gates. Thankfully, the gate was open. I saw a gate man standing guard but ignored him. I pushed the gate open and ran. “Hey ma'am!” I heard the man screaming my name. I called the nearest cab and entered it. “Luciano road, block 125.” I commanded hastily and the car zoomed off. ****** I started banging the door of my apartment, where my fucking boyfriend and bitch of a sister lived. I completely forgot that a door bell even existed. I didn't even want to create any scenes with them. Just wanted to packed my fucking bag and get the hell out of the city. “Open the fucking door. You fucking bitches!” I banged the door aggressively, knowing perfectly well it was constituting nuisance to the neighbors. The door finally opened and it was Kendal. She wore a frown but her facial expression changed when she saw me. “Kim!” Tears dropped from her eyes and she pulled me into a tight hug. She was shorter than me. I was 5 ft 6 and she was 5 ft 5. I cared less about her fake behavior. “Get the hell out of me!” I frowned and pushed her body off me. She staggered back and almost fell down. I entered the apartment that was not up to Sebastian's room. I passed through the couch and went to my room. I saw David on my bed. He was shamelessly still living here. I looked at him with disgust and his face went blank. I turned to my left, opened the wardrobe, started separating my clothes from his. My blonde full hair was swiping on my face. It made me more frustrated. I grabbed it and packed it up. I was sweating and using all the force to throw away all his useless clothes. “What on earth are you doing?” He pulled me back from the wardrobe. I faced him looking up. He held my shoulder with widened eyes. I had no time for him, even though I wanted to kill him right here and now. I pushed his hand away from mine with force. “Just shut the fuck and stand still.” I turned back. I dragged the traveling box, opened it, bent down and started placing my clothes in it. “Kim! Kim!” Kendal came running into the room. I didn't bother looking at her but she sounded like she was crying. She knelt down and held my hand, preventing me from moving. I frowned and gave her a death glare. “Please don't send me out of the house.” She started crying and her tears were dropping on my hand. “You know I have nowhere to go, Kim. Our parents held you responsible for me.” She continued with her fake drama. “Let go!” I pushed her hand and she fell to the floor. I really pushed her hard, making a loud noise. I paused when I saw her grunting in pain. My memory flashed back to when she was moaning ‘harder David’. I rolled my eyes completely ignoring her. I continued packing my stuff. “Babe.” I turned to see David but he was referring to Kendal. He held her tightly and glared at me. “Don't forget that this apartment rent is written in our name.” He threatened me. I finally stopped and looked at them. They were just too close, too close to make me murder them. It was evident they had been doing this for long. “Our?” I said incredulously, “maybe fucking my sister has made you completely mad.” “What?” He let out an ugly frown. “Like I said, I don't have time to create any more scenes.” I continued throwing my clothes into the box. Just imagining myself marrying someone I met only once. I shook my head. It was either I ran out of the city or found every possible means to pay the darn money. I was obviously going for the first one. David held my hand tightly. “Fuck off!” I tried pulling but he was stronger. “Get the hell out of this place!” He dragged me to stand. “Have you lost it?!” I still tried but he didn't remove his hand. He dragged me out of the room and pushed me to the living room. I staggered and fell to the ground. My body began to shiver. I was in terrible pain. “You really have no right to send Kendal out.” He blurted out. Kendal stood by his side and she was still sobbing like an idiot. “We will be the one to send you out of the house.” I was seriously not interested in their drama right now. My brain was just calculating ways to escape. “We can really talk about this later. I've got to continue packing.” I stood and faced them. “Kendal isn't going anywhere with you.” He protested, gestured his hands, blocking me from entering the room. They must be mistaken. I wanted to leave but they thought I meant Kendal. Fuck all these bitches for real. “Just let me pass, you mother fucking shit!” I exclaimed but he remained in the same position. I was feeling so distressed at the moment. My body was shaking and I was yet to recover. “I said get out!” He dragged me by my hand and started pulling me out. “David, be careful.” The fucking bitch still had teary eyes. “Let go of me!” I retaliated and was trying to pull out. He didn't listen but instead, opened the door and threw me out. My head was about landing on the floor. If it landed, I could have brain damage or mental issues. A hand held unto me, preventing me from losing my life. My eyes were tightened but I opened it. I was amused to see Sebastian. My head rested on his chest and his hands were holding me tightly. He had the same look that made him look hot by the second. I squeezed my face. There was definitely no way out. “Mr Carlos!” David went on his knees and bent his head. I pulled my brows in askance. What was happening? “Oh my gosh Mr Carlos! What makes you visit a mere employer’s house like me?” David's head was still bowed. He was shivering and acted like his entire life was dependent on him. My brain remembered those words. ‘Carlix intentional’. I widened my eyes when I realized that was where David worked. I covered my mouth while he still held onto me. I was trapped with his ruthless CEO!My eyes widened to hear Sebastian's voice. His grin on me made me stiff like a statue. I turned and slowly faced him.“I-um just-w-wanted.” My eyes wandered around, I began to stutter. The words I needed weren't coming. He frowned his face and had a stern look at me. He held my hand tightly, started dragging me.“What are you?” I squeaked and was trying to remove my grin from him. Those muscular hands were just too strong. His grin was too powerful. He dragged me continuously without uttering a word. He pulled me into the room I was in and locked the door. He looked very annoyed to see me. He dragged me, twisted me, and rested my back on the door. His left hand was on the door with his other curly its way to my waist. His slight touch on my tiny waist gave me the same sensory issues. He had a frown and looked angry.“All you've got to do is comply to the fucking contract and make no silly mistakes.” I got scared by his facial expression. He sounded and looked too dangerous, too da
He was still holding onto me tightly. David was still in the same position and I didn't care to see Kendal’s reaction. Fear gripped me when I realized my life was ruined. “I just bought this entire building,” Sebastian broke the silence. His voice was the same, as well as his facial expression. “I have the right to remove you from this place.”He removed his hands from my shoulders, positioned my body to stay at his right. “Sir?” David raised his head in disbelief.“Don't you want to take revenge on this dimwit?” He whispered into my ear, making me want to flinch.I furrowed my brows and looked up to see him. I looked down to see David. I had two options, pay the money and live a life of being Sebastian's enemy or marry him and get revenge on this jerk. That word ‘marriage’ just felt too strong to be played with.“Yes.” I blurted out with a death glare at David.“I will return back to you David Benson.” I felt scared at the mention of David's name from Sebastian's mouth. “Let's go.”
Silence. He didn't blink but my eyes shivered multiple times. I didn't even know what expression I could give. I smiled and my smile turned into laughter. I squeezed my face as the morning sun shone in my eyes. I felt uncomfortable so I had to open my eyes. I sighed and touched my forehead.“Argh!” I felt a sharp pain at the left side of my forehead. “What on earth happened?” I muttered to myself. My brain finally noticed I wasn't at home. I compressed my face, wandered my eyes left and right. The room was huge, too big for just a room. It was painted white and had expensive decorations everywhere. I adjusted myself and sat at the back of the king sized bed. The white duvet was covered half way on my body and the pillows were so soft at my back. I was so shocked to look at my left. It was a huge transparent glass wall that filled the entire left side of the room. Not only that, the view was amazing. You could literally view the city from here. Huge landscape and tall buildings. At the front of the bed, there seemed to be a tiny living room. It just felt like I was in a five star hotel.I was starting to feel scared. I checked my body
~KIMBERLY~I positioned my car properly in the parking lot. The car vibrated a little when I finished parking it. The parking lot was very silent and it made matters worse for me. I felt like crying right now. How was I going to provide for my boyfriend and little sister? My fucking boss just demoted me.It was a headache that I was feeding them both, paying all the bills, taking literally every responsibility. David was working as a cleaner in one of the richest companies in America but he never took responsibility. I loved him nevertheless. He was sweet and supported me when I needed him the most. I tightened my eyes and pressed my hand hard on the car wheel. My hands were darn shaky and sweaty. I tried to pull myself together and hide those tears. I took my bag and came out of my car. I turned right and was heading back to my apartment. My eyes propped when I saw David's car. What the heck was it doing there? He was meant to be at work.I walked to it and noticed it was on.“Cont
