There is really something behind her, she got guts, and she seemed reserved and why does she seem so familiar to me? whatever I don't care.

" Bryan have you thought of what I told you?"

my dad asked me, today I decided to have dinner with my parents, my sis went for a business trip.

" What was that?" I asked trying to remember.

" About getting married to Mr. Fredrick's daughter"

"Not yet" I said taking a bite of the meal.

"What do you mean by not yet?, Melanie is a well rooted girl"

" Dad, i thought Mariel is the daughter of your business partner"

" Yeah"

" So why do you refuse her?"

" Mariel is a cheeky one, she is flamboyant, I want someone who is normal and knows how to manage finance, Mariel seem to be a gold digger"

" Dad !, how will someone who has all she wants be a gold digger? "

" Bryan I think this conversation is gonna end here, you will marry Melanie and that's final, I've decided" he yelled.

" Okay, okay i'll see to it" that's all I could say to please him.

" My son listen to your dad okay, he only means the best for you" my mom whom was earlier silent finally spoke, she even supports his decision.

" Mom even you support his decision" I said in a surprised tone, she had always supported me in such cases.

" Of course, that's because he is right, Melanie is a nice one" she said, I'm already tired of this conversation.

" How I wish my sis was here? she would support me" I said hoping.

" That reminds me your sis called and she was happy when I told her you were getting married to Melanie" fuck everyone supports it, how would it feel when our contract expires?

" Ughhhhh" I sighed

" Bryan whether you like it's approved by you or not it's rather you marry Melanie or you forget about having Dill's corporation"

Like serious my marriage with her is tied with me being the CFO if Dill's corporation, my dad's company is really a big deal.

" But dad, mom what if str doesn't like me?"

"I'll surely find a way to make her like you, my son is a good boy after all" my dad said he can really do anything for our marriage he is confident this time ughhh I'm f*e up with all these really.

Early the next morning I got the spirit, felt like going to work already, ut each time I remember what happened two nights ago I feel tingled how possibly am I going to get away with that mess, well I've not pleaded with Mariel yet I was just about to before that strange girl appeared, today I pray i'd summon courage.

I'm do s with my shower I'm gonna have breakfast today I want to go to work early today .

JK Group is my most reliable company which is under my control and management, despite the fact to that I've many companies which I've left almost a

unattended to for a long time now, once I visit such companies, surely every one would be freaking triggered, I only visit there once in two weeks, ever since I went for a business trip in Japan I haven't visited such Groups like BB, J&J, BM... and many more, I'm surely gonna creat time for that, I hardly handle them not now that my dad had promised me Dill's corporation that's a large one.

"Chairman Miss Mariel is waiting in your office, I'm sorry I tried my best to stop her" my secretary said .

" It's okay leave her to me"

" Okay I'll take my leave now sir" he made a little now and stepped out.

" Hey Bryan" she said immediately I entered.

"Hi, what are you here for? " I walked forward.

" Is that how you should talk?"

" I repeat what are you here for?" I said almost yelling .

" Bryan I gave you my first time"

" I know and I'm sorry " I said feeling guilty.

" You're sorry is that all you could say? I have loved you for a long time to the extent I had sex with you, just to please you and now all you could say is you're sorry" she is yelling at me, I took out one of my ATM cards and pushed it forward to her.

"This is my card it's worth 20 million pounds it's password is 0845 have it svd don't disturb me about anything else" she giggled what for? isn't it enough.

" isn't that enough" I gave her another card.

" 40 million, password 0778 should be enough" she giggled again.

" What for?"

" You know what I don't need your money Bryan I've them all"

" So what do you want, a villa?" I asked.

" I want you!" she said, what did she mean she wants me, she wants my life.

" You want my life"

" MARRY ME" she said.

Boom!!!

I got the greatest shock of my life how possibly am I going to marry someone I don't even love a bit.

" What? what did you say?" I asked with my voice breaking .

" I said marry me Bryan, I don't need your money and villa they aren't worth what I gave you"

" See Mariel I don't think it's gonna work between us..." she cuts in

" I don't want to hear those shits you haven't tried calling for me that's why it's hard for you" she stroke my hair softly.

" Ummm I mean I'm getting married to Melanie in one week time" I said withdrawing my self calmly.

" I know it's all over the internet but you can still you can still make a contractual marriage with her all she needs is your money" on my hair again she sat on me spitting these words.

" But..." she cuts in, I'm already uncomfortable.

"No buts, I know you don't love her, but with time you will love me, she is impossible for you"

She stood up leaving, could she be right, maybe I'd fall for her sooner.
