Xeros POV

I stopped in my tracks as I took a moment to survey the open space in the forest. I had lost track of Ryan, the traitor who belonged to the enemy’s pack. He had come into my pack pretending to be an ally but thank goodness for my experience and expertise, I was able to see beneath his covering.

I had been hot on his trail for the past hour and just when I was about to catch up to him, he sped up and took a turn. It was at that moment I lost him. I had my guard up, holding my weapons closely while I surveyed the space. He had to be around here. There was nowhere else he could go, right in front of me was a cliff and it would be a stupid decision to jump down that cliff.

He just had to be somewhere around.

I heard a rustle behind me and prepared my weapon for an attack. I surveyed my surroundings once again but there was no one in sight. After a few minutes, I heard the rustling sound again. I backed the cliff and remained at high alert.

“I know you are here! Show yourself!” I ordered boldly, moving closer, following the rustling sound. Soon, a figure came out of the forest and lunged at me, knocking my sword out of my grip.

I recognized him to be a member of the enemy’s pack but not the traitor I was after, which meant there were more of them in this forest. I recognized it to be a trap by them to lure me into the forest.

Another person came from the forest and another and soon enough I was surrounded by members of the enemy’s pack.

They closed in on me, and I knew I had to think of a way to escape. I swiftly picked up my sword and coupled with some martial art, I was able to escape from the circle they formed around me. I ran towards the edge of the cliff and tried to maneuver my way to the other side of the forest.

Just when I thought I had succeeded in escaping, I felt a sharp pain on my rib and I looked down and saw a silver dagger sticking out from my rib, it was poisoned with wolfsbane. In a few seconds, I felt the effect of the wolfsbane and coupled with the pain, I lost my balance and fell off the cliff.

I groaned as I landed with a thud.

*************

I felt her before I saw her, I knew it had to be her. My mate, the one I had been waiting for. My eyelids fluttered open and I caught sight of the blood seeping out of her shoulder, staining her shirt a bright shade of red.

I couldn’t help but chuckle when I saw the expression on her face. She was marveled by my handsomeness and she didn’t even try to hide it, “if we met in other conditions, I would have advised you to take a picture as it would last longer” I said, then groaned as I felt the pain coarse through me again.

She gasped and her eyes met mine, “Nice to meet you too. You really need to take care of yourself” she said calmly, then rose up and turned to leave. I was taken aback by the way she was acting.

She stopped in her tracks and turned to face him, “I am Aria. I’m a doctor and I work at a nearby university hospital” she introduced herself.

She sounded so confident, that I found it difficult doubting the authenticity of her words. But what could a doctor be doing in this part of the town, especially at this time.

“I’m Xeros” I said.

“You wouldn’t mind if I took a look at your injury, would you?” She asked me.

“I won't,” I assured her. I also wanted her to take a look at it. Anything to make her stay longer.

She walked towards me and crouched in front of me then examined the bleeding on the spot where she earlier pulled out the dagger from. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the examination and kept me from falling asleep.

“We need to get the contaminated blood out of you” she said, returning her gaze to me.

“Then do that” I said, giving her the go ahead.

“I must warn, it is going to be a painful process”

“Painful?” I asked, as if I wasn’t already going through enough pain.

“Let me explain the process, I’m going to get a sharp piece of branch and make the cut deeper to aid more blood loss. This would help in flushing out the contaminated blood”

I nodded, it made more sense with her explanation. “Alright. I have no problem with that”

“Yes, so I would quickly get that” she said, still fixing her attention on the injury.

From the side of my eye I spotted a shining blade positioned in front of Aria’s neck, I looked up and spotted my brother, Alexander, hovering above me.

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   CHAPTER 141

Aria's POV Everything was so messed up as Lucas was rushed into the theater. I didn't understand what was going on because I expected him to be with the brothers, probably doing something they wanted. I never thought he would be rushed in like this looking half dead. What exactly happened to him did they really do this to him?I followed them to surgery and helped out. I could see that he was stabbed in different places around his body. I know he's going to heal but this seems like a weapon made to hurt werewolves. Probably this is something that will affect the ones who are the strongest of other werewolves. Who exactly has this bastard offended that he was treated this way? I kept thinking about it as we came out of the theater. Then I rushed to see if Diane was still around or not. She didn't come to surgery and I thought she finally went home but she was still waiting around. "Isn't that the other guy who signed the blood contract with me? What is going on? Did you people final

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   Chapter 140

Aria's POV We treated the people at the camp without any more objections from Diane. I could see that she was doing her job finally well and she's going to get used to this in six months. As long as I'm still alive, the contract will be valid and we would have to come here together to do our job as doctors. "It's so tiring to do all of this but I hope it ends soon. Why hasn't a cure been found? I heard it's this pack and the one closer to us which has this problem." One nurse said. "I don't think there should be more people getting this weird disease, unless there are no proper security measures being taken to secure our lives." Another one added. "Doesn't that mean that we could be the next person suffering from this at any time?" The first nurse replied in panic. I was tired of having to deal with Diane and she was finally obedient. Why do I have to deal with nurses who should know better than anyone that this can be prevented as long as we're careful?"You both can leave and t

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   CHAPTER 139

Chapter 139 Aria's POV She grabbed me again, looking at me with so much hatred but still couldn't hate me at the moment. Because stopping the pain might only be related to me. "Why are you being so evil? I'm already begging you this much and you refused to help me with this pain?" She said, seeing how I refused to help her. I wanted to say something that might stop the pain but she just changed my mind. She still wouldn't learn her lesson. She expects me to pity her when she literally tried to kill me at the given opportunity. Of course not! I'm not that kind of stupid to believe someone who's after my life would actually be so kind to me. "Since you still have a lot of strength to insult me, I don't think you need my help. You can keep doing whatever you want and threaten those who would actually care about you." I said, turning around to leave her in pain. Even if I know the pain is too much for her to beat, I still can't get over the fact that she did everything to deserve t

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   CHAPTER 138

Aria's POV I couldn't stop thinking about it. After the brothers dismissed me and they went to look for Lukas, I wanted to follow them, but they asked me not to go. This is too much for me to think about. What exactly is going on in his mind? Why did he lie to me that they sent him here when he knows he's in no position to lie like that? I still can't stop thinking about it.“I don't understand this, but I have to do some other things pending,” I said to myself. Then I remembered Diane.I haven't seen her since I came back, and she must still be doing some other work assigned to her. Of course, I'm not going to pity her and give her some rest. She needs to understand the world doesn't go the way she wants, and she should be the one adjusting to the world.I went downstairs to look for her, and luckily enough, I found her sitting at a corner looking dejected. It looked funny to me that she thought she could rest enough. I know she must be thinking of how humiliating this is and how sh

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   CHAPTER 137

Chapter 137Aria's POV I was going to sneak inside and made sure no one saw me yet. I knew the brothers would scold me the moment they found out. I already broke this rule so many time and made them worry about me. I'm a little bit selfish thinking about the fact that they had to go through so many things just to protect my life. I took myself there again without telling them. Since they made Lucas come after me, they already know that I left without telling them anything. Of course they might even be following around and I wouldn't know because they wanted me to take care of this myself. I thought I would be able to sneak successfully until I got inside my room and switched on the lights. I didn't understand why the lights were off in the first place until I switched them on. I almost jumped out in fear seeing the people in front of me. I thought I successfully escaped them but they were in my room they entire time? I didn't know what to say as the three pair of eyes stared righ

  • TRIPLET ALPHAS' CINDERELLA DOCTOR   Chapter 136

Aria's POV I'm so mad! One more minute there and im going to completely lose my mind. Why did I even listen to whatever nonsense they had to say? Lucas and his father are complete idiots. Whatever respect I have left for them has gone through the roof. They're nothing but a bunch of idiots who take advantage of people who are less privileged than them. Lucas was lying to his father or maybe he was telling the truth. They didn't know I could listen to them. I have my senses which already came back, of course I know what's going on from a distance. Telling his father he was deceiving us while deceiving his father is some piece of work. I'm not sure if his father believes him or not. That's left to them to figure out. If the alpha is still a smart person, he would know something is going on. I need to tell the brothers immediately so they can take the necessary precautions they need to stop something they might regret from happening. Maybe this is my fault for coming here to see Sag
