Chapter 32 : He was surprised

Prison isn't easy, it isn't pleasant by any stretch of the imagination, and it isn't a 'holiday camp' as we so often hear – but it does offer stability and structure. Each day at 7:45am the gates are unlocked. Everyone gets ready for their daily activities which start at 8:30am. This was was a very special day for Debby, she would be going home. She didn't have a home but Eric was her home. He had called her informing her that he had just landed a day ago and was staying at a hotel. What he didn't tell her was he had brought a guest. Debby had not slept at all, she was excited. The butterflies in her stomach just wouldn't let her sleep. She imagined how amazing it would feel to be in Eric's arms. Had he changed? Did he still hold his wholesome looks? Did he get any new tattoos? They always got tattoos together, it was spontaneous, it was their thing.
