CHAPTER 34Daniel I don't know what happened to Rhea but I could tell my Mom really gave her a hard time. Since she felt exhausted I took her to bed and then made my way downstairs. My mom's purse was on the sofa while she went to pour herself a drink.“What did you do to her?" I asked because curiosity wouldn't let me leave that question.“Nothing," she turned before adding, “We just had a woman-to-woman talk, son." “Mom, I know you. CHAPTER 33Daniel “I'm not going with you he's going to take me," she pointed to a man who was smiling at her from the counter. “Rhea don't you dare," I warned. “Nice try Daniel let me see you try to stop me," Rhea responded walking towards the counter. The amount of humiliation I was feeling in that moment was just unbearable. It's like I had signed up for my worst nightmare.
