Aria’s POV

“Something Shiny, Something Woody, Something Given, Comes with two.”

Growing up, I often hear this old, werewolf rhyme whenever a wedding was to happen in our pack. It was a tradition wherein a she-wolf bride-to-be was expected to carry anything that corresponds to the requirements of the rhyme on her wedding day. Doing so would bring good luck to their marriage. While there was nothing wrong with following old traditions, I also didn’t think this was a requirement. Why? Because I believe that the key to a blissful union lies in the hands of the two persons inside the marriage. As the old saying goes, it takes two to tango.

If I were to ask, I never dreamt of an extravagant wedding. I didn’t see myself in some highly-embellished gown or wearing expensive pieces of jewelry on my big day.
