Chandria’s POV

“Daniel!”

I tried to push him away with all my strength, but he would not stop.

Instead, he grabbed both of my wrists and forced them down, pinning me.

I felt trapped, unable to move. He stared straight into my eyes.

“Chandria,” his voice low, “Please…let me do this.”

Before I could respond, he kissed me again. It was not gentle or comforting.

It sent chills through my body. His lips crashed against mine, rough and desperate, as if he was trying to take something from me.

His grip tightened around my wrists, and he lifted my arms above my head, holding them there with one hand. I struggled beneath him, my heart pounding loudly in my ears.

He kept kissing me, aggressive and consuming, until my thoughts started to blur. It felt overwhelming, confusing, and wrong. My lips ached as he bruised them, and I tried again to push him away, but he was too strong.

His hands moved lower, tracing a slow, deliberate path that left a trail of heat.

Chandria’s POVLater that day, I was already dressed up, the outfit carefully chosen, trying to make myself look invisible. After I was done, Daniel came over to help me. His presence was steady, “Make sure you wear the cap properly,” he said, “so no one can recognize you. I’ll be disguising myself too.”His tone was serious, but there was an underlying protectiveness that made my heart skip. He added, “I’ll call my security team to make sure the Lancasters don’t follow us.”I nodded, swallowing the lump in my throat. There was something in the way he looked at me—a seriousness, a determination to protect me. At the same time, I felt I could fully trust him. Not completely, though. I knew better than to let my guard down entirely. I had to stay alert, even with him.But for now, I let myself relax just a little. We stepped out together, cautious and quiet. I pulled my jacket tight, adjusting the cap over my head, and made sure the mask covered my face.Daniel was wearing sunglasses, h

Chandria’s POV“But—”“No buts, Chandria.”He was about to leave when I stopped him.“Wait! Please, at least remove these…” I glanced down at my hands. “It’s hurting me.”He looked at me with that cold stare. Silence passed between the two of us. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears. Then he said, “I expect you not to run, Chandria. Because if you do… you won’t like what I can do to you.”My heart pounded so fast I could barely breathe. I swallowed hard, trying not to show fear, but my hands were shaking. I forced myself to calm down, to act normal. I nodded slowly, pretending to be obedient.“I promise,” I said softly.“Good,” he replied, his tone was firm and distant. He started untying the ropes around my arms.My mind was racing, planning every move before he even finished.I waited for that one perfect moment—when his guard would drop just enough. When my wrists were finally free, I pushed him as hard as I could.“Just let me go, Daniel! Chandria’s POVSuddenly, I felt a hand resting on my thigh. It was warm and firm. The touch made my body react before my mind did. I slowly forced my eyes open, blinking several times because everything felt heavy and dizzy. My head throbbed as if my thoughts were being shaken around inside my skull. I felt itchy, uncomfortable, and confused all at once.“W-Where am I?” I whispered under my breath. The place around me was unfamiliar. The ceiling was white, too clean, and the lights were painfully bright. My vision spun slightly, like I had just gotten off a ride that went on too long. It felt like my brain was floating, unable to settle. Before I could fully understand what was happening, a voice broke the silence.“I brought you here, to my other house,” the voice said calmly. “I need to speak with you, Chandria.”That voice. I knew it.As my vision slowly cleared, I blinked several times, forcing my eyes to focus. When I finally saw the man sitting in front of me, my chest tightened

Even though it hurts, even though it feels like I’m swallowing my own shame, I have to do this. For the baby. For the life I want for both of us.Before I leave, I leave a note. I sit down on the edge of the bed, my hands trembling slightly as I write.Dear Aiden,In the short time I’ve known you, I’ve grown close to you. I… I loved you. You’re the father I saw in the child I carry, even though you aren’t really the father. In the brief moments we shared, you made me happy, you made me laugh, and being around you made everything feel lighter. But I can’t accept what you did. You took away my freedom. You used me. And because of that, my life has changed completely. I know you’re being honest now, but I just… I can’t trust you again. Please, don’t blame me for leaving. I have to do

Chandria’s POV“What?”Aiden looked at me like he didn’t understand a single thing I said.“You heard me, Aiden,” I said, already exhausted.“I don’t care if they find me, or if they kill me. But in my final moments, I want to be alone. My life only gets more dangerous when I’m with you.”His whole expression tightened. He stepped closer, as if he was waiting for me to take back my words.“Chandria…” he whispered, then shook his head. “You can’t be serious.”His hands grabbed both my arms. His grip wasn’t painful, but it was desperate. He shook me lightly, like he wanted to snap me back into the reality he preferred. “Tell me you’re joking,” he said, his voice breaking.“I’m not,” I answered. “I’m telling the truth.”His hands began trembling as he held me, and I felt his breath hitch. He wasn’t used to hearing things he didn’t want to hear. He wasn’t used to losing control. His eyes darted across my face, searching for any sign that I was lying.“Chandria…” he repeated, shaking his h
