Pain.

Lot of pain was the first thing that hit Elizabeth as soon as she went into labor. It was a deep searing pain that left her gasping for breath. The sensation she was feeling now was something she had never felt before. It just felt like her stomach was about to rupture, as she lay twisting on the floor in her room.

No matter how much she tried to find a comfortable position on the floor, she could never adjust to the new feeling that always seemed to leave her breathless at every five minutes intervals.

“Eva” Elizabeth cried into her hands.

Elizabeth knew that labor would be very painful. She has seen other women go through it before but she didn’t expect it to hurt this much. Her whole body was cracking form every single joint, starting from her hip down to her legs.
