Chapter 11 - Lunchtime

Mya looked at the clock on the wall twelve noon. She left Lily’s room and shut the door quietly behind her. Remus had said not to get too lost when leaving, he hadn’t said anything about going down to the kitchen on the way out. She walked briskly through the corridors, everything looked the same. It would be so easy to get lost, in fact was she even going the right way? She could smell fresh bread so clearly, she must be close. It should have been easy to get there considering how long she’d lived in the manor. But whenever she had gone anywhere, she had always been following Remus or Beth. She was starting to regret not paying more attention now. She followed the corridors until they came to have to choose to go left or right and just followed her nose all the way until she could hear muted conversation behind a door in front of her.
