Chapter 14 - Quinn

Mya sits by Quinn’s cage. He’s been in leopard form for over a week without changing back once. He lies on the floor staring at the barn wall blankly. He won’t even acknowledge the existence of the other shifters when they come to see him. He hasn’t shown any interest in food or water just continues to stare at the wall. Finley walks over to join Mya.

“Come on my old friend at least change back. We care about you, we will look after you as we always have, we are family” Finley pleads with him. Quinn continues staring at the wall, ignoring his friend’s words. Mya has had enough of his bullshit. She stands up, takes the padlock out of the cage door and swings the door wide open. Finley inhales loudly.

“What are you doing? It isn’t safe to open the cage! He will inure himself!” Finley goes to shut the cage door but Mya holds him back.
