Lucy’s POV

Everything was totally wrong.

Ethan stood beside Ash, arms crossed, a smirk on his lips that sliced through me like a sharp blade.

I struggled against the rogue gripping my arms, my breath uneven, my heart racing unstop. My heart pounded so loud I thought it might drown out the words I never wanted to hear.

“Ethan…” My voice cracked up at this point. “Tell me this isn’t real. Please tell me this a joke.”

He chuckled, tilting his head. “Real?” His eyes gleamed with something dark. “Oh

Lucy POVI hadn’t slept. Even though I wish for that. Not because of fear. Not because of doubt. But because Elias still breathed, and that alone kept my blood hot and restless.Me remembering my experience with him, made me hate him the more. From my tower window, I watched the horizon. Somewhere beyond those mountains, kira was slipping through his gates. Wearing silence like armor. Smiling with secrets packed between the crates of herbs she carried. If I’d learned anything from betrayal, it’s that it doesn’t always come with a blade or sword.Sometimes, it walks in politely… and waits. And sometimes, it comes causally with a smile.“Are you still up?” Daniel asked, stepping in with a fur cloak draped across his arms.“I told you not to baby me,” I replied.“You didn’t tell me to stop worrying about you either,” he said. “Mira’s been gone over a day. You expected faster results?”“I expected contact.” I turned toward the window again. “She’s never gone dark this long before.”He sta

  • Tales Of A Broken Luna   Chapter 61

Lucy POVThe flames had almost burned out, but I remained seated at the war table, staring at the list in front of me. Five names. Five ghosts of the past who thought they buried me along with my mother. Five beast who made me tear up. Five beast who stood as a friend but worst than an already known enemy. They were wrong.I picked up the quill pen beside the parchment, dipped it in red ink, and drew a long, deliberate line through Andy’s name. One down. The next name stared back at me like a challenge.Elias.The air in the room thickened just thinking about him.The Alpha who once sat beside my mother. Her advisor. Her friend. The wolf who kissed her cheek the night before the rebellion—then opened the gates for the ones who killed her.The one should as a best friend, the one who claimed to be the father I never had.I still remember the blood on her dress. The fear in her eyes as she realized the betrayal hadn’t come from her enemies, but from within her own pack. From him.I too

  • Tales Of A Broken Luna   Chapter 60

Author's POVThe moon hung low over Lucy’s territory, casting long shadows through the towering trees and stone-lined pathways. Inside her mini council hall, the fire burned low, embers flickering like the tension in the air, the past still playing in her minds. Maps were spread across the long oak table. Lucy stood at the head of it, calm but alert. Daniel leaned beside her, arms folded across his chest, while Rhea paced near the door, ever the watchful blade. They had been preparing for the next move. Ash was already dealt with, her downfall a carefully calculated blow that sent ripples through the surrounding packs. But Lucy knew better than to believe peace had finally settled. No, this was only the eye of the storm. The moment shattered when the doors were flung open with a thunderous crash.Beta Andy stormed in, eyes bloodshot, fury seething from every inch of him. His hair was matted, his clothes torn, and his aura was wild with barely restrained rage. Two unknown rogues trail

  • Tales Of A Broken Luna   Chapter 59

Lucy – POVThe sky split in half with the clash of thunder and fury. The battlefield had gone quiet—eerily quiet—as if the land itself was holding its breath and waiting for something.Ash stood across from me. Her long coat whipped in the wind, her sharp eyes blazing with fury.I took a slow breath, letting the weight of everything fall into silence. This wasn’t about the pack anymore. This wasn’t about the betrayal, the politics, or even Andy. This was personal. She smirked. “So you finally crawled out of the dirt.”I didn’t blink. “I didn’t crawl. I rose.”Ash laughed. “Still so dramatic. You think this is a fairytale? That you’ll somehow beat me in the end and everything will make sense?”“No,” I said simply. “I don’t need it to make sense. I just need you to bleed and maybe die.”Her face darkened at sound of my words. We circled each other, the sounds of battle far off in the distance. Our wolves clashed elsewhere—but here, it was just us. Luna to Rogue. Woman to woman. Past to

  • Tales Of A Broken Luna   Chapter 58

Lucy – POVThe Hollow breathed with quiet purpose. Every torch that burned along the rocky paths felt like a pulse—a heartbeat of something that was no longer just an idea, but a living, growing resistance. But I knew it was only a matter of time before the fire we’d built attracted attention.I stood at the center of the training grounds, watching two wolves spar beneath the morning sun. Rhea barked commands from the side, pacing like a lioness sizing up her prey.“Too slow, Alaric!” she shouted. “If Lucy were your target, you’d be dead already.”“Let him catch his breath,” I said lightly, though my tone was steel under silk.Rhea glanced at me and smirked. “War doesn’t care about breath.”“No,” I replied. “But wolves do.”I turned to leave, my cloak trailing behind me as I moved toward the command tent. Daniel was already inside, bent over a rough map of Ash’s compound.“She’s sending scouts,” he said as I entered. “Two were spotted just beyond our southern perimeter. One escaped.”

Lucy – POVThe night after confronting Ash, I didn't sleep. I couldn't just put things together.I sat by the open window of the little room, watching the moon cut across the sky, silver and distant. My hand rested gently on my stomach, the hope of fulfilling those words I told Andy, playing in my head. This child—my child—wasn't just a hope but my life. It would be a new beginning for me.And beginnings demanded bold steps.Which was why, just before dawn, I sent for Daniel. He arrived without a word, his expression unreadable as always. He stood in the doorway, arms crossed, dark eyes watching me closely."You're up early," he said quietly.I didn’t waste time. “I want to build my own faction. My own force. I’m not asking for your blessing or your go ahead. I’m asking if you're with me.”He blinked, then laughed once—dry, surprised. “That’s not what I was expecting though.”“Good,” I said, standing tall and firm. “I’m done being predictable.”He studied me for a long moment. “You’re

Lucy POVI found Daniel pacing in the living room, his jaw tight and fists clenched. He was mad again, and I was tired of it.“Daniel,” I said, standing in the doorway. " We need to talk and it urgent.”He stopped, turning to me with a glare. “About what?”“About you acting like some kind of guard

Lucy’s POV“Ethan, do you have something to say?” I called out, my voice echoing through the room as I sat on the edge of the bed.The sound of running water stopped, and moments later, Ethan walked out of the bathroom.
