Chapter Fourteen: The Gala Night

After two hours of non-stop rehearsals, the director finally calls for a break. Via smilingly waited for Paolo and Serena to cone to the audience's seat, where she is right now.

While she is waiting, she can't help but notice a girl who's staring at Paolo. She also noticed that the girl keeps on touching and flirting with Paolo.

Via then turned her eyes to where Serena was. She's talking to their director, and she was too absorbed in their conversation that she doesn't notice anything.

Via felt sorry for her sister, and for herself too...

"I really hate that girl!"

Via turned her attention to Serena and closed the book that she was reading. She then went to her sister's bed, who looks clearly annoyed.

"Who are you talking about?" Via asked, even though she already know who her sister hates.

"That Brianna! She was openly flirting with Paolo, and she's been doing it since our freshman year in high school!" she said it all in one breath
