Chapter Nine: The Aftermath

And just like what they expected, Serena, Brianna and two of her friends were summoned by their Principal the next day.

The girls told the Principal their own versions of what really happened, and the witnesses of the incident relayed their opinions as well.

In the end, the Principal decided to restrict Serena from participating in The Scribble activities for a week.

Brianna and her friends were also restricted to participate in their volleyball activities for a week as well.

After the meeting with the Principal, Serena went straight back to the classroom for her next class...

"Well, it's not that bad, right? I mean you won't be forever suspended at The Scribble. You just have to be patient for a week. And besides, you're still the Editor-in-Chief so nothing changes." Paolo tries to cheer her up.

"You're right. There's still silver lining in every situation." Serena nodded in agreement.
