Waking up

The tepid water has been the cause of the awakening of the dazzling lady. Being unconscious for two hours while sleeping in the wide bathtub rendered the owners of the mansion to feel anxious.

The girl is burning with a fever the whole day!

They laid her first on one of the beds in a guest room, but oddly enough, instead of the temperature going down, it has risen more up to 42 degrees Celsius!

The maids of the Qiong family started to panic, their hearts have been restless ever since their young master brought home an unfamiliar person and with no clothes on for a fact!

"Shush, you'll wake her up" the older maid, Gina reprimanded in a low voice.

"But she's been sleeping for almost eight hours, she should wake up to eat" Keela retorted back in the same whisper-like voice.

With all the bickering going around her, the girl labeled as 'sleeping beauty' has finally woken up.

The woman's long eyelashes flutter slowly, indicating that she responded to the extrinsic noises around her.

Andromeda's eyes adjusted to the surrounding, it was kind of blurry yet she managed to determine the scene around her.

There are two humans by her side, one is touching her hair while the other massages her arms. If she's not too lethargic, she would've moved away from them, however, her 'new' body still refuses to listen to her.

With her quivering lips and shaky voice, she managed to ask.

"Where am I?", she questioned, trying to put firmness in her tone. Once she regained her strength, she can escape from this place.

"Miss, you are at one of the Qiong's villa in Sue Island" the one massaging her arms responded. Yan Qiong should be here any moment now, she gave instructions to call her once this lady awakens, one of them already did went to share the news to Yan Qiong even if it's already late at night.

The whole room was filled with the sound of continuously flowing water, the huge rectangular tub Andromeda is in, calmed her wobbling body.

It was the humans she loathes, yet she was not given an option but to receive their accommodation.

'Just this is not enough, they should feel the same way I did, back when my people told me to leave, protecting me from the countless bombs they gave in order to have a bountiful harvest'

The stories in their homeland are indeed true, humans are daunting creatures, for they will treat you kindly yet will kill you when you turned your back.

Maybe, she should accept a bit of their presence, mingle around and see what she's against with.

Relaxing her shoulders once more, the courtesy and politeness thought in their kingdom still lies on her and she can't stop blurting out words she says casually in their homeland.

Two words that made Andromeda bite her lips, it would've bled if she didn't keep in mind what the elders said, her curse disallows her to get hurt.

The mermaids and merman's upon knowing this from one of those kind humans, never once again showed traces of their existence, not until now that their own princess came to the land due to the fact that they can no longer bear to live in a dangerous place.

They said that the problem with their kind is that they were too altruistic and mellow that even when the people destroyed their home with constant bombing and throwing off chemicals, the mermen, instead of punishing the humans, will give them more bountiful catch, even if it means sacrificing their fish friends.

And that's why they have been abused for thousands of years.

The silence didn't last that long when Yan Qiong slammed the door open, as if she's angry when in fact, she's excited to see the lady that will serve as the key for the success of the Qiong family.
