Storm’s Point of View

[Two hours ago]

“Do you want a beer, babe? I see you here all the time, don’t you ever get lonely?” The blonde girl purred seductively and moved closer. Her chest pressing into me as she ran her fingertips tantalizingly over my chest.

My lip curled in disgust as I reached for the glass atop the table. She observed my actions with curious anticipation, only to gasp when I calmly poured the liqueur over her head and face.

“What gives you the right to lay your filthy hands on me?” I seethed with indignation, rising from my seat, and hastily brushing off the ‘dirt’ she had maliciously splattered onto my clothes. “I came here to relax with a drink, not to be pestered by some slut like you.”

“What the hell?!” she yelled.

But I refused to even glance at her, and instead fled the scene. I had no idea why I’d come back here in the first place. My grandpa’s villa was calling me home, but I couldn’t face it. Playing house with a wife was the last thing on my list of things to do. If it weren’t for the old man’s wishes, I would’ve never gone through marriage!

At long last, I made my way back to the office, even though I had already finished all of my tasks for the day. Nevertheless, when I arrived in the vicinity, I was shocked to see a person occupying my seat in the pitch-black room. But based on the shadow, I could recognize it.

“Grandpa?” I asked to confirm.

As the figure rose, I switched on the light. I was surprised when my grandfather’s silhouette was revealed. Frowning with worry, I questioned him, “What are you doing here at this hour? Where is your nurse? It’s way past your bedtime, why aren’t you resting...?”

My words trickled away into nothingness as I noticed the weight of his intense stare. His eyes were like a hawk’s, taking in every detail of me with utmost precision. After what felt like an eternity, he stepped forward with a loud thump of his mahogany cane and soon came to stand before me.

“Storm!” His voice filled the room with a reverberating authority. “I let you do what you please in your marriage these past two years, but it’s time to draw the line. What kind of husband are you that you can’t even take the time to go home and check on your wife?!”

I was about to explain myself, but he added again with a hint of accusation in his tone, “Mister Scott said someone had spotted you overseas with another woman! Is that how a married man should behave?”

My gaze locked onto his, and I solemnly uttered, “Grandpa, this must be some kind of mistake. Where did you hear these things? Why are you so sure of them?”

“Because I know you, Storm Scoville! You’re gonna tell me it’s all just a misunderstanding? Then, why don’t you go to your wife right now and explain it to her! She must be feeling devastated right now!”

“Grandpa—”

I halted mid-sentence as he erupted into a coughing fit. My instinct was to rush to his aid, but a single gesture of his hand forbade it.

He pressed his hand against his chest and spoke in a labored breath. “My days are now numbered, Storm. These aging bones will soon tire, and this old man will bid this world goodbye...”

“Grandpa, why do you keep saying those things?” I couldn’t help but be annoyed.

“I’m merely saying what could possibly happen.” He sighed deeply and drifted past me. “Storm, when are you going to think about having a child of your own? I hope I will be able to see your children before I leave this world.”

His voice was tender yet heavy with concern. I knew his plea was genuine, but I had no answer for him.

The memory of that scene came flooding back to me, as I watched the woman crumple to the floor in a helpless heap, her face flushed, and her thighs exposed. My heart boiled with rage.

“You’re so desperate to get Grandpa’s favor that you’re willing to do anything?” I sneered disdainfully. “You’d even spread your legs to seduce your target, wouldn’t you? But don’t get your hopes up, because it won’t work on me!”

She fixed me with a lethal stare, her eyes red and glassy. Her response was venomous as she spat out, “You’re such a narcissist! Like I would ever be interested in you? In your wildest dreams!"

“Then, what are you doing right now?” I snickered.

I waited anxiously for her reply, but she remained silent. After a long moment, her steely gaze softened, and she began to unbutton her dress.

My heart raced as her collarbone and ivory chest came into view, unveiling her complete form. It was as if she was revealing not just her body, but her very essence to me.

Realizing what I was thinking, my blood ran cold as I whipped around in a panic to find if someone saw her. I stumbled towards her, in a desperate attempt to re-button her dress.

“You! Don’t be so ridiculous! What do you think you are doing?!"

“It’s hot...” she mumbled as she was trying to stop my hands. “Help me...”

“Damn woman! Stop pulling and get up!”

“No…”

She stared deeply into my eyes and without warning put my hand on her chest. Her hot skin sent jolts of energy through me, setting every nerve in my body alight. The heat spread from my stomach to my chest - it was already too late. I backed away, but that moment stayed with me.

I felt boner after that.

‘This woman! How can she be so skilled at tempting when she appears so innocent?’

I forced myself to ignore the emotion I was experiencing and tried to be calm. However, when my patience finally gave out, I grabbed her arm firmly and urged her to stand up.

“Ouch!” she cried, closing her eyes in pain.

Upon seeing her reaction, my grip reflexively loosened. But it seemed like she was intent on pushing me to the brink of restraint. Because as soon as I let her go, she threw herself against me, and we tumbled back to the ground.

To make matters worse, she pushed her body into mine after landing on top of me.

“Scarlett! Scott! Scoville!” I thundered as I couldn’t take it anymore.

I could see tears welling up in her eyes as she saw my look of wrath. But I couldn’t be bothered with that. There was more of a concern to me. Why am I so turned on because of this woman?!

“What?! Don’t give me that expression and get off me!”

I attempted to pull away from her but as our eyes met, I felt something soft and tender on my lips. And before I knew it, she had her eyes closed, savoring the moment of her kissing and licking my lips.

‘Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!’

I yanked her away from me and gave her a fierce look that seemed to be puncturing her very soul.

“Scarlett, I’m telling you right now! You’ll regret it, so get off!”

Her eyes opened abruptly, as if she was startled by what I said. She turned to face her surroundings and was taken aback when she realized she had been riding me when she glanced down at my body.

“I-I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I will get up now!”

She got up and was going to get off when she fell again, smacking my manhood with her sensitive area this time.

Her eyes widened in shock as she peered at me, but I was too preoccupied with the burning sensation that was now slowly taking over my body to respond.

“Fuck off!” I spat, losing my mind when I saw her chest again.

Yet, rather than pulling away, her icy hand moved to my chest and descended towards my raging boner.

“Don’t!” I clamped my eyes shut, gritted my teeth, and attempted to stop her hand. “Scarlett, I’m telling you now, one wrong move again and you will be doomed!”

I was hoping for her to stop, yet I miscalculated. I swept away when she inched her body onto mine and I knew it would be no more than moments before I could no longer resist.

“Please, help me…” she begged seductively.

And I was like a ticking bomb that had completely exploded. My patience had been worn thin, the boundless hunger I’d tried to contain now raging wild.

“Shit! Don’t regret it, woman! You asked for this!”

No sooner had I uttered the words, than I roughly snatched her around the waist and forced her body to the carpet.

She avoided his gaze, focusing instead on her daughter’s soft breathing, her tiny fingers curled around Scarlett's thumb.Storm took a step into the room, his expression unreadable. “Your father told me… he told me about your heart condition,” he began, his voice tinged with concern. “And… I didn’t know you had—" His eyes fell on the sleeping newborn in Scarlett’s arms, a look of both surprise and wonder flashing across his face.
