Locked Up 1

CHAPTER FIVE

Locked Up 1

Few minutes later, the. are pulled over at the front of a big building, one which Leanda had seen but never walked into, what could she be looking for?

They stepped down from the car while she did so reluctantly, she imagined creating a scene, maybe that was going to work and this man would let her go, but that would only cause more troubles for her.

Morgana moved closer to her and held her by her arm, "My name is Morgana," she stated.

That was the last thing Leanda was interested in at that moment, her name. She had nothing to do with her name, she just wanted to go back home, to her family, to her dad and Sarah, she wanted to go away from whoever these people were.

"Please, just let me go," she sniffled.

"I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that," Morgana responded and smiled, "Come with me," she added and they followed behind Alarick and Dennis who had already led the way.

While they were going in, all Leanda could think about was a way of escape, a way to get away from this strange man.

The man who she wasn't sure of what he wanted to do with her, she just wanted to get away from him.

She was scared, broken and angry at the same time. She was scared of the strange man that she had just been sold off to, she was heartbroken because the life which she wished for had just been destroyed, her wishes would never come true.

Leanda was angry at her stepmom and also at herself for being so weak and vulnerable that she couldn't help herself in such situation, she had no other way to do it.

She sniffled as she walked with her hands tucked into Morgana's hand.

It was a five star hotel and a very big one at that, Alarick pushed one of the doors open and they all trooped in, that was when Morgana let go of Leanda's hand.

"You can all leave," Alarick said to Morgana and Dennis.

"Your highness," Dennis bowed and stepped out of the room without thinking twice, but Morgana didn't leave.

She stared at Leanda, whose eyes were filled to the brim with unshed tears, and back to Alarick whose eyes were filled with nothing more than anger and irritation, and it was always like that.

She was scared of leaving Leanda with him, she knew how Alarick could be, he could hurt Leanda if she wasn't careful.

"Can I just stay for some minutes your highness," Morgana requested while keeping her head bent.

One thing Alarick always found it difficult to do was to turn down Morgana's request. Aside from being the pack's witch, Morgana was the one who took care of Alarick after his parents death, she was like a mother to him.

"Do as you want," he said and walked to Leanda who shook in fear, "And you, come with me," he stated and held her hand as he pulled her towards the closet.

Morgana couldn't move from where she was, what could the alpha king be doing? and no one dares to question his authority, what could he be up to?

She sighed as she watched him, she didn't want to interfere because that would get him angry which might also lead to what they wouldn't be able to handle.

"You will stay here and not go out," Alarick said and pushed her into the empty closet.

"What!" she gasped and held on to the door knob, "Why will you lock me in here? what have I done to deserve.."

"Keep quiet," he yelled and glared at her, "I'm not in for your tears and rants, none of them will work on me," he shook his head, and he was absolutely right, none would work on him.

Especially not now that he was getting under the influence of his wolf who had already recognized Leanda and what could her fate with Alarick.

"So stay in there and do not move or make an attempt to run away while I'm still being nice," he started, "You will have yourself to blame if get on my nerves," he shook his head and slammed the door.

Leanda trembled at the loud sound of the door, tears raced down her eyes when she heard the twisting of the keys.

She couldn't hold the pain any longer, she fell to the floor in a disheveled heap as her pain poured out in a stream of uncontrollable tears.

Her whole life seemed hopeless and worthless, all her dreams and hopes had been cut short in the space of few hours, all the life which she imagined to live had been cut short.

Her shoulders shook as agonizing tears tore through her, she stared at the tiled floor, her head filled with so many questions.

"What have I done wrong?" Leanda whimpered, "Don't I deserve a life of my own too?" tears tickled down her eyes, it was like she was lost in her own self, she has nothing to do.

She stared at the floor, hoping to get an answer to her questions, but none came, she couldn't find an answer to it.

She was all alone, to find a solution to her situation, she could either be saved now or never.

She curled up at one corner of the closet and wrapped her hands around her, she rested her head on her laps. The tears on her face had already dried up, forming white lines on her face.

She sniffled every minute, she thought in some months her life was going to be better but this was the opposite of what she wanted.

She had always been maltreated my her stepmother and stepsister, but this was the worse punishment or maltreatment she had ever had to go through.

Second rolled into minutes, and minutes into hours, Leanda was still inside the closet, she wasn't allowed to go out.

Her stomach grumbled, she was so hungry, she hasn't taken anything since that morning.

She couldn't hold it any longer, she stood up from the position she had been for hours and dragged her feet to the door.

She stood at the door without doing anything for minutes, she then held on the door knob and twisted it, she gasped when the door came open.

"Has this been opened all along" she murmured to herself.

She stepped back into the room and was surprised not to have found anyone there, her eyes widened, was that the moment?

She turned, looking around to make sure that she wasn't wrong and that there was no one in the room.

A smile fell on her face for the first time that day, this could be the moment she had been waiting for, this could be the hell she prayed to be sent from the heavens, she was going to escape.

She picked her legs up one after the other as she headed for the door. She initially wanted to find something to eat but now she found her way of escape, thank goodness her stomach grumbled at the right time.

She tiptoed to the door, making sure that she wouldn't make a sound and also that no one would see her.

She wasn't sure anyone was in the room because there were other doors, but at least she knew no one was around her.

Leanda got to the door and sighed, she was finally going to get away from this man.

She placed her hand on the door knob, and as she was about to twist it; it twisted and came open.

She froze and gasped when she saw the one in her front, it was the same man she was running away from, she knew even if anyone didn't tell her that she was in a big problem.

Alarick's eyes widened, he stood at the door, staring and glaring at Leanda for minutes, his eyes gazing at her from head to toe.

He took a step forward and Leanda took hers backward, "What do you think you are doing?" his voice was thunderous, which made Leanda shake.

Her body became sweaty immediately as she saw this man's eyes changing, she had never seen anything like that before.

His once red and green eyes had already changed into red, Leanda could feel nothing but blind terror, her belly cramped. She was frightened down to the sole of her shoes.

"What do you think you are doing?" he asked again and this time, Leanda ran back towards the closet.

She stopped and gasped when she got to the door to meet him, her heart almost leaped into her throat as she began to shake like a puppy beaten by the rain.

'What just happened?' that was the question that kept ringing in her head, she had never seen something like that before.

Fear terror reared you within her, she was mute, she couldn't say anything.

"I asked what you think you are doing," he asked once more time and pulled Leanda to himself.

Leanda cried out when she felt a sharp pain on her arm, she looked at it and she could see blood dripping down. How could he grow such a long nail in seconds?

"Let me go," Leanda cried out and slapped his hand, her arm hut so bad, it felt like she was burnt by fire, "You are hurting me," tears rolled down her cheeks.

"You can't run away from me," he said again, his voice echoed this time, and came back at them, "I am Ubel, the.."

He suddenly stopped, his hand stopped from Leanda and he went down on his knees, Leanda gasped and moved away from him.

Her eyes went to her arm which had a big cut, who was this man? that question came back into her mind and she couldn't help but wonder.

Everything about him was so strange and scary, he had two eyes color and it changed to the same thing when he was hungry, he even grew such long nails in few seconds, what was this man's identity?

Leanda still couldn't stop shaking as she watched him groaning on the floor, what could be wrong with him? she was confused.

She couldn't tell what was happening, he was the one shouting and hurting her few minutes ago, and now he was on the floor, groaning like he himself was in pain.

She was confused until she looked around and saw Morgana muttering some words.

"Ego te adstringo daemonium," she muttered the words in Latin, which means 'I bind you demon'

She kept saying that with her hands stretched towards Alarick, and after some minutes, she stopped and began to move closer to him.

She picked her legs one after the other, just like when Leanda was trying to sneak out of the room.

Morgana got to Alarick and stopped, "Your highness," she murmured but she got no answer from him, "Your highness," she said again, but it was still the same.

Morgana moved closer and when she tries to touch him, he raised his head suddenly, causing her to fall on the floor with a shout.

She shook, but when she looked up into his eyes, a sigh escaped from her mouth.

"Thank goodness," she murmured.

Leanda just stood there, confused of all that was happening and who these people were, she couldn't tell anything about them.

The once same eyes had already changed to the usual different color, which threw her back into her confusion, the more time she spent with them, the more confused she get.

She suddenly felt a sharp pang on her hand, she held on to it as blood was still dripping down, she was in so much pain and the mark seemed like the claw of an animal.

She was forced to look at Alarick who had already stood up and was walking towards the bathroom.

"Who is he?" she asked, and this time loud enough for him to hear.
