“He didn't listen to me.” Elizabeth said as she glanced at the tall building meters away from where she parked her car. The building had the initial 'AS' which stood for Andrew's Solution.

Ava, who sat beside her, sighed and took off her glasses, “If you can't get him to change his mind, why do you think I can?”

“Because you're his mother-in-law.” Elizabeth said outrightly.

“Dante's company was on the verge of going bankrupt because Andrew attacked it. He doesn't care about anyone besides himself.” Ava frowned, leaning her head on the headrest.

Elizabeth finally took her eyes off the building as she asked, “The fundraiser event will happen tomorrow. Even if he doesn't come, Taylor will attend on his behalf.”

Ava glanced at her daughter and nodded in understanding. If everything goes according to plan at the fundraiser event, Taylor would be in hell.
