03: Taken Captive By The Devil.

"Leave him alone, you bastard!" Leonor screamed venomously, with hatred lacing each of her words.

"Leonor!" Elpidio whimpered, his face pale as fear took control over him.

Everyone was shocked, even the devil himself was amazed as they stared at his sister.

"You're a monster, a devil, don't you have mercy at all?" Leonor screamed at the top of her voice as rage filled her.

Armando's eyes sparked with fire, but he kept to himself as he fisted his hands. It's a thing he could have shot her to silence her, but he was quite interested in whom this lady was and where she got her boldness from.

No one dares speak to him in that manner, and he was amused to find a new discovery. If he must comprehend, he had applauded her for her bravery.

Some guts she had right there...

Leonor just broke the world record by shouting at the most dangerous man, everyone would have cowered for and hid under their blanket at the mention of his name.

Elpidio had never seen his sister so bold in his entire life, he knew she's strong and courageous, but he wasn't expecting her to be like this in front of someone she knew wouldn't think twice before killing her in seconds.

How the hell did she manage to get out of the room? He thought.

"Are you okay?" Leonor asked, running over to her brother and knelt on her knees, so she would be at the same level as he was.

"Master, should we finish her?" One of Armando's made men asked, but Armando raised his palm to stop him. He was interested in the drama happening in front of him.

He was interested in her...

Leonor cupped her brother's bruised and swollen cheeks, ignoring the man who had gotten her brother in that state, as tears rolled down from her beautiful face.

"Leonor why did you fuck get out of the room, I told you not to come out until I asked you to," Elpidio whispered, his heart pounding heavily against his rib cage.

"Well! Well. Who do we have here?" Armando, for the first time in ages, laughed so hard as he took steps closer to them, swinging the gun around his finger.

His eyes were on Leonor, and Elpidio could feel how they pierce through his sister. Leonor looked towards Armando and glared at him, and Elpidio managed to sit on the ground and embrace his sister closer to him to protect her.

He can't let these bad people harm his sister... he would never forgive himself for that.

"Little savior." One of his men said, and the rest chuckled, laughing at them.

"You need to get away Leonor," Elpidio muttered to his sister who was shaking in his hold.

Armando was capable of doing anything, he might even take advantage of her, and the thought of it terrified Elpidio.

"I'm not leaving you like this, brother," Leonor replied stubbornly, clasping her brother's hands tightly with hers.

Elpidio sighed, thinking of what to do next.

Armando was in their front, and he squatted in front of them as Leonor eyed him disgustingly.

His eyes were glued on Leonor, and she could feel the invasion of goosebumps on her skin.

Why is he focused on her? Elpidio pondered helplessly.

If only he hadn't engaged in business with this deadly man.

"Who is she?" Armando questioned, his dark gaze still glued on the girl clinging next to the traitor he was about to kill.

Elpidio was contemplating whether to answer the question when one of Armando's men forcefully dragged his sister away from him. Leonor's screams were ear deafening, and the man pointed a gun at her as she muffled her screams.

"Leave my sister alone..." Elpidio was forced to say, and he crawled over to his sister and held her.

"She has nothing to do with this." Elpidio dared to say to Armando.

"You never told me you had a fierce and protective sister," Armando mused, glancing at him second before returning his gaze to her.

Why did she prick his attention so much? Armando wondered.

Leonor's hands tightened even more on Elpidio, and he knew she feared the intense look Armando was giving her, but she didn't show it.

"I-I..." Elpidio stammered, finding it difficult to get the right word to say.

"Now that we have someone else tampering in our business, then I have a better idea," Armando smirked, standing up and taking a few steps back.

"What's that?" Elpidio asked, frightened as Leonor gripped him tightly.

"I won't kill you now, but your little sister is coming with me," Armando stated. His stormy gray eyes lingered on Leonor.

Elpidio and Leonor became paralyzed the moment the words came out from the devil's mouth. They need not question him because they know this is an alternative. Leonor was already trembling and shaking beside her brother.

Would she survive a moment living with this dangerous man?

What would become of her?

Her freedom?

"No! Please you can't do this, she has nothing to do with this," Elpidio begged, he left Leonor and moved to the feet of Armando to plead on her behalf.

"I will do anything."

" You can kill me, just don't take my sister along with you."

"What did you fuck say?" Armando roared. His stormy gray eyes getting cloudier and filled with rage, he tilted the gun towards Elpidio.

"Please stop! I will go with you, don't kill my brother," Leonor cried.

"I will go with you, please don't hurt him anymore." Leonor sobbed and for a moment, a spark flashed in Armando's face, but he soon masked it away.

"Leonor, you can't do this," Elipidio shouted, staring at his little sister breaking down in tears and his heart felt like it was squeezed from the remaining ounce of blood.

She can't just give up her life for him, this was his fault. Elipidio thought.

A thunderous punch hit his jaw and he fell flat on the floor again, groaning and coughing out blood.

"Are you crazy!" Leonor screamed.

"I said I would go with you, don't kill him." She stood up and charged at one of the men who hit her brother.

"Leonor!" Elpidio tried to caution her, but he began to feel dizzy.

The man tried his best not to hit Leonor as she kept dragging his clothes and using her nails on him.

At least they had mercy on her.

"Take her to the car." Armando ordered, and one of his men lifted Leonor roughly and threw her over his shoulder, marching outside.

"Leonor!" Elpidio wailed, he managed to stand up and leaped on his wounded legs.

Two soldiers blocked his view, and Armando stepped forward. "You can't do this!" Elpidio said angrily.

"You can't just take her away, I promise, I'll get your money soon."

"We have a deal, bring my money complete and get your sister back in return," Armando smirked.

"Or..." He pointed his gun at Elpidio. "You and your sister die." He threatened, Elpidio sucked in his breath and fisted his hands, but he released them immediately.

"Don't think of coming to take her secretly, we're watching you," Armando warned and walked out of the room.

"You can't fucking do this," Elpidio shouted as soon he was out of sight and Armando's men grabbed him and pushed him cruelly to the floor.

They started kicking and hitting him hard.

Elpidio hissed painfully, all he wanted was for this nightmare to stop.

"That's enough, one more hit, and he will surely die." One of the men said to the other bloodthirsty man, who still kept kicking him.

"Ingrate!" The man said with a grin, and they both walked out. Elpidio's head was spinning, and he tried to go after them, but he stumbled and everything blacked out.

"What did you fuck do to him?" Leonor howled at the two men coming out of the house. They ignored her like she didn't even exist and walked over to their master and reported to him.

They spoke in the Italian language, which she couldn't understand.

"Are you deaf? What did you do to my brother?" She screamed, her eyes bulging out of their sockets as fear gripped her.

What if they killed him? No, they can't do that. She thought weirdly.

"Is he dead?" She muttered to herself.

"Is my brother okay?"

He was the only family she had since the dismissal of their parents. The men stared at her, and Armando was fed up with her cries.

Leonor began walking to the house to check if her brother was okay when Armando moved closer to her, grabbed a handful of her hair and tugged hard on it.

She let out a shriek, and he pulled her back to the car and slammed her against it.

"One more damn question, and you're dead." He gritted, his eyes boring into hers, and Leonor made sure he saw nothing but hate and anger.

"Then kill me." She challenged him, giving him a death glare.

Was she daring the devil himself?

"You're playing with fire, esuberante," Armando growled dangerously.
