Chapter Eight

Caspain gave me a saccharine smile that had goosebumps running up my arms. He shifted me off his lap and faced Reno. “Well, Mr. Alvarez, what do you want in exchange for Kellum’s life?”

Reno stopped twisting in watch and turned to Lust, “Are you a part of this bargain as well? Since it was your invitation and we are in your club.”

Lust shrugged, “Whatever my brother needs.”

The use of the sentiment had Reno tensing and glancing over his shoulder at the man standing behind him. I think he knew this meeting could turn for worse at any given minute and he would be on the losing side. I glanced around looking for his own men, knowing he wouldn’t have come alone.
