The next morning, we meet in the War Hall.

That’s what Kita calls it.

I call it a monument to silence. Every inch of the space is carved with ancient Admosian words and symbols. Some I recognize from books. Others from dreams.

The ceiling rises into a dome of dark stone, and at the center hangs a massive iron ring with seven blades pointing outward like a compass. Each one etched with a crest. I don't know what they mean. Not yet.

But I will.

Korra, Octavius, and I sit at a long stone table. Kita stands across from us, flanked by two of her warriors. There’s a heaviness in the air—like whatever she’s about to say won’t just change what we know.

It’ll change who we are.

“You’ve been wondering what this is all really about,” Kita begins. Her voice carries in the stone chamber, calm and clear. “Why Lucien hunts you. Why the Vilamir family stirs. Why Admos seems to be waking from its grave.”

I don’t interrupt her.

Neither does Korra.
