Lavender left the car so I waited patiently for her to return. I rolled up the window, making myself comfortable.

I then spotted a lady selling some iced colored water at the other side of the road.

I rolled down the window, gesturing for her to bring me one of them. She did immediately and I handed some cash to her, telling her to keep the change.

As I sipped the water, I let out a sigh occasionally at the chill the way it glided down my throat.

It came with a little orange flavor to flow with the orange coloring.

I placed it down in the center console, sighing as I pressed the seat back to relax.

Just as I started to feel comfortable, I heard a knock on the window.

I never expected Lavender to be back so quickly. Just as I was about to open the door for her to come in, I noticed it wasn't her. It was her personal assistant who came to our wedding to inform Lavender about her mother's health.

She flashed me a smile, waving her hand so I opened the door for her to get in.
