"So, you were going to tell me about the vampires who are attacking my daughter?" I asked Alaric once he was done with his question whether I informed anyone about my arrival or not. The moment Moana left with Alpha Andrew to the border, I left for the place where Alaric had called me. I needed to leave before her arrival; otherwise, she wouldn’t have let me leave alone.

"Umm, yeah!!" He said this, running his fingers through his hair.

Okay, that was odd.

After learning that Theodore knew about my location as well as the fact that I was meeting him, there was a sudden change in his behavior. He looked happy as well as irritated at the same time.

"Are you all right?" I asked him, and he shook his head first and then nodded his head. Something was definitely wrong with him, and there was no doubt about that.

"I need to leave. I just remember that I have to finish my urgent business." He said that, and before I could have gotten a chance to say anything, he ran away from there.
