“What?” I shrieked.

I quickly grabbed my bag and rushed out of the store, making Max chase me.

“Gwen, you okay?” He asked

I ignored him and jumped into the first cab I saw, instructing the driver to go as fast as possible. My heart raced so fast that it felt like it was going to rip my chest open.

Could you drive any faster than this, sir? With a trembling voice, I asked.

I was sweating profusely and stamping my feet nonstop. I felt the vehicle was not moving fast enough.

“Oh God.” I exclaimed loudly.

"Are you okay, miss?" the cab driver asked, concerned.

How can I be okay with the news I just received? How can anyone possibly be okay?

Granny was pacing the hallway when I caught a glimpse of her holding Evan. She looked tired and worried.

“Granny, where is Ethan?” Tears were welling up in the corners of my eyes as I spoke.

“He is being examined at the Neonatal Intensive care Unit”
