Last night had been one of the best nights of Anna’s life. Sleeping beside Zach knowing she’d be doing it every day felt so different. She had woken up early in the morning and found Zach still sleeping beside her. He looked so at peace when he’s asleep. She sat up from the bed and walked towards the window, stretching out her tired arms. The sun was starting to rise up now and she should probably do something now. Opening the curtains, she looked over the large glass windows, seeing the blue sky getting brighter.
Maybe she should begin cooking breakfast for Zach from now on. She would enjoy taking care of him. Anna walked over to her new wardrobe and took some decent clothes to wear. After that, she m finally headed down to the kitchen. She took her time, preparing a delicious breakfast and after a few minutes, she was already done. She couldn’t wait for Zach to eat his first breakfast in bed with her. What about some juice? Perhaps she should check the fridge for
He sneaked inside the room and deeply inhaled the scent flooding his nostrils. It was sweet. He shifted into his human form and froze when he clearly heard the innocent moan of a woman. He looked around the darkness of the room and immediately found a girl sleeping soundly upon her bed.
Her hand flew to her mouth. "Oh, my God," she muttered under her breath. For awhile, she just stared at the
Anna was about to turn around when she felt an arm wrapping around her shoulders. Looking up, she met the blue eyes of a stranger. Tall and handsome, she immediately noticed. His hair was a beautiful mess on his head. Eyes so beautiful like the blue endless sky and his smirk so cheeky.
Anna was beyond relieved to have survived throughout all her classes and was now heading to the cafeteria. The problem was she had no idea where she should go.
Anna frowned, oblivious that she was helplessly checking out the guy. Something about him just screamed danger and confidence. He played like he was born to. And apparently, she found it very attractive. In the heat of the moment, his face turned and his eyes stared right back into hers. Shocked, she felt heat reaching up her cheeks as she couldn't avoid his gaze."Earth to Anna?" Bea's voice pulled her out of her trance. She averted her eyes and turned her head. "Huh?""The game's over.""Oh."They stood up and waited for John and Ben from the locker rooms to change. Anna had an uneasy feeling as she thought back to the guy named Zachary. Her thoughts vanished when her phone rang inside the pocket of her red hoodie dress. She reached for her vibrating phone and answered it once she noticed her Grandmother calling."Hello, Grandma," she immediately greeted, feeling the sudden crav
By the time she had gotten to the parking lot, to her great disappointment, she did not find any trace of the familiar black truck of John and Ben. She looked further around the parking lot in case it was hiding somewhere but as seconds ticked by, she ended up staring at the emptiness of the sight in horror.
"So that's why everyone's looking at me as if I'm just a kid?" she asked, horrified at the memory of the faces traced with prejudice."Everyone?""Well, not everyone. Just some.""What did they do to you?""There are just these faces, you know? These faces with the looks of disgust and judgement. I can't stand it. I feel like I shouldn't be there." She felt horrified at the thought. She jumped back slightly when she heard him growling. She looked at him and touched his arm. "Are you OK?"His growl grew louder, feeling the touch of her skin melting against him. His grip tightened on the steering wheel. Seeing this and thinking she just burned him, she quickly drew her hand back and shifted uncomfortably on her seat, looking out the window."Sorry," she mumbled, blushing. He sighed. "Don't say sorry..I j
