On her way upstairs, Anna found Diana playing on the empty hallway. The little girl was playing with a statue of a guy, acting as if she was dancing with it. Anna almost chuckled, seeing Diana acting as a grown up when all Anna ever wanted right now was to be a child again. If she could only bring back the good times.
“Diana, what are you doing here and why are you still up at this late hour?” she asked, touching the girl’s soft hair.
Diana looked up at her with a frown. “I’m dancing with the late Alpha Gabriel. Besides, it’s too early for me to sleep.”
