Chapter 25: Showtime

The rain began to fall as soon as I arrived at my next destination. The surroundings were gloomy, with many trees that resembled a forest. I put on my hood and hid among the nearby bushes. Only the ticking sounds of raindrops and the whooshes of leaves can be heard.

There are five men shifting from side to side, long gun slung across their shoulder, patrolling around the warehouse. The only source of light outside is the two lampposts, and the beam came from the inside, passing through the wood holes. Tugging my dagger from my boots, I followed the shadows cast by the bushes to cover myself as I moved slowly from behind towards the nearest man.

I quickly covered his mouth before he could make any noise that would draw attention to us, then fluently slit his throat, and he collapsed lifeless to the ground. I place a button bomb on every column I can pass through, but this time it won't explode automatically like before.
