Artic's POV
Every part of me ached, wincing at the tiniest of movements I tried do. My mind became an even bigger jumbled up mess as I took in everyone's faces. Their eyes telling me something was really wrong, still no one said a word. Michelle had weaseled her way over to me and sat down next to me after my parent's left the room with Dr. Soleum. Shawn and Ian stood over by my desk never taking their eyes off me as if I might disappear at anytime. After a few more minutes of akward silence I chose to say something. I couldn't take the tension in the room of all these unspoken words. " Sooo... is anyone going to tell me what happend and what apparently is still happening?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows together as I glanced at them one by one letting them know, they weren't leaving until one of them spoke. Hi everyone! I'm sooooo turly sorry that I haven't been able to update as frequently as I would like and it's been quite sometime sense I have.... Unfortunately as I have mentioned before, I have been struggling with being sick on top of having family and friends pass away over these last few months. I wish what I was typing was an update on more Chapters but sadly, I'm typing in hopes of asking for more of everyone's patience. My underlying health has been horrible and I haven't been getting better. So I'm going to be scheduled for surgery soon. Any and all prayers that could be sent my way would be a blessing in this struggling time. I hope in the coming weeks or month that I wil be back to feeling myself again soon and I will be able to get back to writng at full force! I just wanted to let you all know I didn't forget about you all and I'm very thankful for each of your support! Thank you for reading! S. Jones

Hi Everyone!!! I first want to start off by thanking all of you for reading and giving my book a chance and for subscribing to my story!! You all give me courage to keep moving forward! I want to thank each of you for being patient and understanding about me not being able to update and add more chapters for unfortunately quite sometime.... The smell of dirty water mixed with rusted iron wafted into my nostrils, as I took deep calculating breaths. A slow steady thrum of pain shot through my head, only growing worse with every small drip of water that rapidly tinked from some where inside, making me flinch and cover my ears in hopes of silencing the wretched sound. My body felt like it had been crushed under the weight of a thousand bricks; causing me to dread each minuet movement of my body as I tried to situp. My brain felt heavy with fog as it washed over my mind burying all of my memories within it. As I sat there trying to recall the smallest fragment of where I was and how had even I gotten here? I caught an orange flicker of light dancing from the corner of my eye, shifting my gaze to a glass latern behind the massive iron bars that stood tall and angry with it's sharp flaking edges; that know doubt had been caused by the steady dripping of water I watched spalsh across it's surface causing me to cringe o

The buttery light of golden amber rays broke through the tree tops, telling me another day had begun. I sat there purched high above the grassy fields tittering on the edge of the border. My heart sank at not knowing what to do, broken between the choices I needed to make. If I choose to leave now and follow after Captain Darius to pursue my brother in hopes he may still be alive... Then that would leave the border unattended. Allowing my brother's mate to cross and find her way to the death lillies sealing her fate to the darkness. I knew, in my heart, what my brother would want me to do, he would tell me to save her and let him go. I watched as the soft pelt of rain drops splattered against my bedroom window. Leaving behind little squiggles of water, as they slid down the glass. I wasn't aloud to go any furthter then my desk, given what I had been through. I was still having a hardtime staying focus on even the smallest things. My brain felt heavy, like there was a neverending fog floating around inside my skull, leaving me with the feeling like I was never truly awake. The clock on my desk chimed and spun as the ballerina danced, letting me know my brothers would soon be home. I should feel happy that they were finally coming back. But, I couldn't shake this feeling that sat in the pit of my stomach, churning as time grew near. Shawn, had told everyone that he wouldn't discuss anything until they had arrived, letting all the unsaid words speak for themselves. " Sarah, Sarah, won't you open those eyes of yours? I want to see those beautiful artic orbs, after all they will be mine soon," I hear this scratchy, unnerving voice ask me. Still, no matter how hard I seemed to try to open my eyes, I couldn't. They felt heavy and sticky, like they were glued shut. The sounds of many moving around me, bristled through my ears, making me flinch at the closeness, causing my heart rate to spike with every sound of movement made. I could have sworn each time that I flinched, I could hear some where in the distance the sound of whatever around me laugh, only making me struggle even more to try and open my eyes or move.....? But, I wasn't even sure if I was doing that.... I couldn't feel the rest of where my limbs should be, only my eyes felt heavy and that puzzled me even more to what was happening to me. I watched around me as everyone tried to mask the horror, that spread across all of their faces. Even though, everything was given away within the depths of each of their eyes. I stood up quickly, pushing past Ian as I rushed to the bathroom. Flicking on the light, I caught the glimmer of iciness that coated my cheek, spreading up into my eye socket. There was no way of stopping my hand as it shot up, pressing hard over my mouth as I tired to stifle the scream that tore it's way up my throat and passed my lips. The girl, staring back at me in the mirror, looked broken beyond repair. Hair twisted in knots, as if it had been caught out in the wind all day. My once nice purple long sleeve shirt and jeans now torn and crumpled, like each piece of clothing had been raked against tree after tree, shredding the fibers. Tears of Sorrow Hospital
Hello everyone, this is S. Jones husband. I do apologize for the very late update, But, as of now my wife is in the hospital again. Her last srugery seemed to go well and we all thought she was on her way to a great recovery. But, sadly this was not the case and she was rushed in for emergency surgery and maybe be looking at another one depending on how things move forward. I just want you all to know she is very thankful you all have stuck it out with her through theses hardtimes and how sorry she feels for everything that hass been happening even though it has all been out of her hands. She is praying that soon she will be back writing again as it brings her joy to share with you all her stories. I ask now if you all could please send us your prayers and love in this hardship we are facing as it would help bless our family and give us the extra strenght our children, myself and her made need. Thanks again for all of your support.
