After Christmas break, the three teenagers awoke early to the sound of the rooster crows from the farm house, along with their neighbor and best friend Teddy. Ericka was unable to move from her bamboo bed due to the swelling in her foot. She is screaming and groaning, the roaring wind competing with her, and voices are emerging in the tremulous, stammered sound.

She continued, "John, Kuya Randy, Where Are Mama and Papa? Can you come help me get out of bed?" adding, "I needed help because I had to go downstairs to the comfort room for an emergency because I had bad foot soreness."
