Chapter Twenty-six: The solitary days at Home

Ericka is the only one left alone early on Christmas Day because she woke up so late. Her parents left early

in the morning before the sun rose, so they wouldn't miss the Christmas church services and could still

meet their distant relatives, whom they hadn't seen in a long time. Ericka missed seeing her godparents

already because they moved to a distant place and she couldn't find out exactly where they were.

"I don't know why, because I wasn't with them last night, I have to take responsibility for clearing out the various leftovers from the party.”

When Ericka saw those mounds of filthy utensils that the guests and family had been using throughout the day's Christmas festivities, she became upset.

She felt a sudden unease and a sour taste in her stomach, prompting her to dash downstairs to the comfort room.

Sadly, there isn't enough water in the large bucket to wash her filthy behind and flaunt it on this toilet.
