I’m relieved that my fully conscious member didn’t bring attention to himself throughout our drinking session. I fear the consequences if he discovers the truth about his sister’s involvement. I quickly consumed the entire contents of the bottle.

“Are you feeling better now?”

And there, my gaze fell upon Ryker. “Yes, certainly. Why?”
