"Damn, I missed her."

After the Ryan Lee case ended almost a year ago, I thought about retiring from being a police officer. Ryan was already in jail with those who had proven his allies in the illegal business. I also granted Dad's long-standing request because he is also old and should retire. Right now, I'm able to run the business without calling Dad. It's my first month as president and CEO of the company without any help from Dad. I have also finished several meetings with investors. I thought I wouldn't be able to survive, but here I am, and it looks like I'm getting used to it. Instead of a gun in my hand, my finger is touching a laptop. Instead of taxing mountain missions and buy-bust operations, stressful meetings are in my future.
