DIEGO

My heart came swelling at the sight of Carla's beauty in the dress I got for her.

She still had her gaze lingering about, unable to look back at me.

"What... are you doing here?" She asked, tucking her hair to the back of her ear, before managing to lift her gaze at me.

Her pretty eyes and beautiful body figure kept dancing in my head.

I was finding it hard to stay focus and say something to her.

But when I did get my voice...

"This won't do! " Mrs Parker cried from inside the room, getting my attention at once.

I looked and saw her resting her forehead against the wall, crying out loud.

"What's wrong with her?" I asked Carla while stepping in to know what was wrong.

"Oh, it's just my Mom being... Mom, " Carla answered, pointing at the dress laid aside on the dressing table.

"What about it?" I asked, wondering what importance it had.

"That's her dress for the ceremony," Carla revealed, drawing nearer to the table.

"Wait, she's not dressed yet?" I was surprised, looking back
