I spun around, my eyes meeting those of Lily and instantly pushed myself from Asher. “Oh, I’m sorry.” She apologized, her eyes bewildered before she turned around in shock and walked hastily back to the door.

“Lily it’s not what you…” I turned, reaching my hand up to stop her… not like I was close to the door, but I did it anyway.
