14. She smells divine

After the nerve-wracking council session, the couple made their way to what was more appropriately called a pack castle than a pack house. Nicholas, holding Scarlett by the waist, led the way inside, setting off a wave of whispers and curious, disapproving gazes that rattled her nerves.
