“That’s it.” I grinned as I hopped into the car. Aaron glanced at me, a tired smile laid on his lips.

“I’m glad.” He whispers, taking my hand in his.

“We can leave now.” I tell the driver that merely nodded. Aaron brings up my hand and kisses it softly, shutting his eyes close. “How far is your house from here?” I asked

“Twenty minutes.” He replied without looking up at me. I hummed as we drove out of the company. Aaron went silent but his grasp on my hand still tight.

I took the opportunity to look at him properly again, his long lashes sat prettily. At this point I’m convinced it’s some sorcery because why are his lashes longer than mine.

“Creep.” He mutters, his eyes shooting open. I felt a blush creep up my face, he caught me staring at him.

“Don’t worry, I like it when you look at me and only me.” He tells me, pulling me closer to him.

“You shouldn’t be displaying much strength, you’re sick.” I scolded and he rolled his eyes. “Are you going to be my nurse too?”
